overall yes but after watching it last year it's really not as good as i remember. i definitely lean more towards indifferent at this point but still give the edge to yes.

not really sure what else they can really show that'll make a big difference. feel like the game needs to actually be played for like a week to see how it is. i'm still torn on if i like the driving to each map thing or not. from what i seen it seems like most courses are really only like 1 lap on their actual course now.

do they still have like a normal grand prix mode to it? like how the series always been with 3 lap races.

i have a lot of video games and consoles but i don't collect them. to me collecting is trying to get a full collection usually. mine is just me stopping selling all the games i buy. all my old consoles i sold growing up but then ended up buying them again. lot of old 64, ps1, ps2 games i sold and then over the years when i was working i started buying a lot of old ones again. so now i just sell games i know i'll never play again or games i get like a remaster version or something on a newer system and know i'm not gonna go back and play the old version again.

then like i have some different sports, pokemon, yugioh cards but most is what i had as a kid and then i've bought some packs over the years just for fun but yea definitely wouldn't say i collect any of that.

i guess the 1 thing i would admit i collect is state quarters. i was collecting the old ones from like the 2000s or something and had most of them but still missing a few. like a year ago i did buy a book to put them in and bought a book for the set that came out after them. i never really use cash but if i do i'll look at the quarters and see if it's one of the state quarters and then will see if it's one i need or if it's better condition than some that i have.

should have gotten phoenix wright to defend him. would have screamed objection as soon as the judge tried to interrupt him.

people will still buy it and not sure if we'll get a price cut or not but i definitely think sales will be slow the first year or 2. there's really not much out there game wise. mario kart and the new DK game is pretty much it. then there's the duskbloods next year but think that being on a nintendo system will probably give it worse sales than any of their recent games. then most of what else they're doing is ports of switch games and even MP4 is coming out on switch 1 so that's not a reason to buy a switch 2 and pay extra for that.

so like 2 big exclusives the first year? and a 3rd next year. professor layton will be on switch 1. so from the other exclusives i see

survival kids - does anyone care about this?

kirby air riders - gonna be overshadowed big time by mario kart world. i barely played the first so don't care about it although i do love a lot of the kirby games but not spending $80 for this.

hyrule warriors - never played the series but been meaning to check out the first one

drag x drive - at first thought it looked cool in the direct but watching it on treehouse it looks like it's gonna be pretty bad. thought it would be similar to rocket league but seems like it's more of a tech demo than a real game.

welcome tour - speaking of tech demos....heard it's supposed to be $10 when it 100% sure be free and packaged in the system. really can't see much of anyone buying this. i'd be surprised if it hits over 1 million sales.

cobra kai was you youtube the first 2 seasons so not sure if that counts but majority was a netflix original. same with you but think that was lifetime or something.

consistency i'm sure is a factor in it. probably something hit the algorithm enough to get it in related vids or recommended or whatever.

SL got a lot of hype but MHA should beat it fairly easily.

maybe chainsaw man and bleach can get close. if they even come out this year. although kinda doubt either can reach that same level as hype though. which honestly i feel surprised about with bleach. i don't know anyone personally that watched the tybw and even online i don't see much conversation about it. bleach i'm assuming will be it's final season as well but know the filler in the original show did make a lot of people drop the anime.

yellow was what i started with and i traded the pikachu and then it would never follow me when i got it back. but it sucked so i didn't really care. gen 5 i also ditched superior after awhile cause it always felt so freaking weak.

other games just depend on if one looks worthwhile or not. at least for first time going through it. replays i usually do nuzlockes or randomized ones which is fun and forces you to use new pokemon. especially if you're doing hardcore rules or at least a level cap.

i think i put like 10 hours into it and just dropped it. never looked back. think it was maybe a year after i played skyrim or maybe fallout 4 and just wasn't interested in a super long game like that but i had a friend hyping it up so i tried it.

looks like mario kart is $80 so you'll be saving $30 and it's mario kart so you know you're gonna buy it eventually anyways. it's always the safe game to play with casual people that don't really know how to play any real games. that and mario party.

mortal kombat. i was expecting it to be a topic about the MK1 reboot and if it was any good. i only played the demo/beta and never really heard much about the game after it came out.

Is the Steam Deck still best in class for handheld/pc hybrid?

i think the asus one is stronger. probably something else that came out since is probably even stronger. steam deck seems like the better option to get though. personally i just play my switch in bed and i'm good with that. i never even use my laptop for gaming anymore and just use my desktop. switch 2 is probably september/october and is a different market than the steam deck so you'd be fine with getting both. especially if it's mainly playing in bed since it sounds like it only has like a 2 hour battery life.

think only 1 i bought. most were grade school days my parents got me. my main one i bought to carry around my laptop but at the time i bought a bulky 17 inch gaming laptop that was too big to even fit it so i just kept it. then went back to college so used it for that for a few months and then covid so all my classes switched to online.

last one i got as a gift from my brother that i've never used. i think i have 3 now. not even sure where i got the 3rd from but i've had it forever so might have been one from high school.

What I seen was Vance running with Trump being his VP which would basically make Trump president even with Vance in office or could even have Vance drop out after winning to give it to Trump.

i just use what i get for free from my phone, cable(only have cable cause the bundle is cheaper than what i was paying for just internet), etc. i actually have most but no netflix and a few others. prime is the only one i really pay for that isn't free with something else. i still use youtube more than any single thing i sub to. oh i do sub to crunchyroll. i forgot about that and do use that one enough to justify it.

netflix screwed up with cracking down on password sharing so i quit giving them money. it wasn't so bad paying like $12 a month to share the 4k ad free plan but even that i would go months without using it so i would have canceled it if i wasn't sharing it with a friend. i did sub to it for a month for the tyson fight and the stream was so freaking awful i won't do that again.

free ones don't have much content i really care about but better than nothing. there's way too many services out there and most only have like a show or 2 i even want to watch on it so can't justify paying for all that.

haven't played 8 yet but 7 was great. REmake2 was great. REmake3 i bought but haven't played yet but heard mixed things about it. so still seems like they've earned our trust.

doing it first? not a chance. if someone attacks us first with one? yes.

but there's a reason russia has never launched one in the 3+ years the war has been going on for. iran or someone else would have to be the one to launch the first one.

voted paper mario. super great game. MMX is great too although pretty short. mario rpg is short for an rpg. i beat the remake in like 10-15 hours.

what mega man games have you played? X is pretty easy. the end is obviously a lot harder than the rest but still found it to be one of the easier games in the series although i'm sure some of that is just how many times i've played that. just look up a boss weakness list and where the hidden stuff is if you need to or just don't care about finding the stuff on your own.

same as ps4 games getting ps5 upgrades. most likely gonna cost $10-20 to upgrade. might boost games from 30fps to 60fps. upscale to 1080p in handheld.

some other things to point out is that she lived like next door to the boat club. not sure if it was literally next door or what but it was really close so for her to be able to get up to 40 that fast. think it's on like a main road but seems like she pretty much was so drunk she just floored it. she had her own family come out saying she was a drunk right after the accident happened too. at the accident she blew double the legal limit and i'm sure it took police quite awhile before they got around to testing her so she was definitely above a .2

i followed the case a bit since it happened and not once have i seen her ever show any kind of remorse for what she did. she also had her bail set to i'm pretty sure $1 million and she got out right after bail was set. also she injured 13 other kids and adults.

it'll be fine. i use it when i need to get something asap and not trying to wait to get it online and then find out if it's even the right thing. plus like mentioned contractors give them so much business

i sold my snes, gbc and gba and parents sold their nes. then bought another nes and snes. also used to sell my games to buy new ones till i got older and started rebuying a bunch of old 64 and ps1/2 games and then stopped selling stuff unless it's a game i knew i'd never bother playing again like sports games or games that got remasters on newer systems.

nes i haven't played in years. even with a good upscaler it still looks like crap on a 4k tv. snes doesn't look bad but 64 era and newer is mainly what i'll play since they still look good on 4k. i've wanted to buy a crt tv just for it but can't really justify buying one and the used one i got for free from a friend was a 200 pound hunk of junk. i do miss light gun games though.

that's the only one of the retro ones i've never played. also the one you hear the least about so never been in a rush to try it but do plan to eventually just because. i've beaten most of the games except 2, 5 and 8. never bothered with 13 or newer.

i've always wondered how the hell did they clean them? like do you make sure you hire a couple really small people that can fit in it? or just say screw it. i know i've seen some employees online say that they had to clean it each night but didn't see specifics on how.

i beat it like 10-15 years ago. was a pain. as a kid the monkey part is easy enough to brute force. the collision detection sucks though. the ostrich part took forever to finally learn enough to beat. was so glad to finally beat it and haven't touched it since.

no, i don't really go to the theater much anymore and when i do i usually don't bother with 3d unless i'm going with a friend that wants to which isn't many. the 3d tends to just give me a headache after awhile so and most movies don't really do much with it. early on they tried a lot harder like the first avatar movie. some still do good but most it's more of just a cash grab then anything.

i freaking loved mario 64 as a kid and the longest time kept saying it was the best 3d mario but i haven't played it in like 2 decades with the last time being the remake on ds. then i got the 3d all stars collection and started it up and only got like 20 stars in it and just really didn't have fun with the game. just felt so archaic and that freaking camera is 1000x worse than i remember.

i still plan to eventually go back to it. last summer went through and beat sunshine for the first time. i'll probably beat galaxy again next since i haven't since it came out. currently playing mario wonder. so probably be a couple years before i finally try to go through 64 again. i dunno if it's just the switch version or what but the controls felt off to me. like definitely not as responsive as i remember on the 64. i sadly don't have my copy on 64 anymore. like a friend borrow it and never got it back.

if it's as good as the new 1 and 2 remake(at least the little bit i played) then cool. but with how shaky the last 2 decades have been for the series i'll wait and see. i did preorder the last one to get the skateboard and then found out it's just the board and doesn't come with trucks or wheels. so just left it as a collectors item i guess.

that's most days for me. i try to shop as little as possible.

but this is pointless. this is like all the gas boycotts over the years. 1 day isn't a big deal. people still need gas so they'll be filling up the day before and that day will just have way more profit than normal. same with buying stuff in stores. people will just buy it the day before or after. that's if you can even get a worthwhile amount of people behind it.

no, it was great but switch is overall better. plus 3ds didn't have the 2nd stick till later on or you had to buy the add on for it.

so they round everything up to be divisible by 5? oh your total comes to $1.01 after tax but we'll have to charge you $10.05 so the company isn't losing money
