this is why they haven't made a new game in over 2 decades besides f-zero 99 and no idea how many players that had compared to the others. star fox i'm sure sold way better without looking it up.

i accepted f-zero and punchout probably won't ever get another game made. i don't really know why f-zero didn't sell better. f-zero x i played so much growing up. gx i never owned since it's so expensive to buy but rented it a few times and loved it.

no, i'll buy it eventually though. was MK8 still trash to play online? i only tried on the wii u version and it was horrible. on the switch i only played it with friends and never really touched it solo since i already put so much time into it on wii u since it didn't have much to play.

it'll be $70 they'll have a $100+ version with a few extra things and like a 3 day early release. a collectors edition at like $150-200. maybe some season pass thing for it too since i'm sure it'll have some planned DLC for it.

but the biggest thing is GTA6O is gonna be a cash cow for them again so they really don't need to even charge for anything but the base game and they'll still make a killing off it. i do wonder how many copies they need to sell at $70 to break even since i'm sure this game will cost more than 5 or RDR2 to make.

probably a little but like everyone has been expecting it for like a year or 2 already. especially when they had pics leaked of what it actually looked like kinda screwed nintendo over. we get the trailer and it's like year just everything that was leaked except teasing MK9.

like only thing i was scared about was nintendo pulling another wii u and making some drastic change to it instead of sticking to what works. but like that MK9 gameplay didn't look any better than MK8 even the switch version. weren't rumors saying it'll be on par with the ps4 pro/xbox one x? i'm hoping at the direct when they show some games it's a noticeable improvement over the switch. as of now i know i'll get one eventually but can't see me doing it till 2026 or maybe 2027 once a few must own games come out. MK9 and even the rumored new 3d mario i don't think is enough to make me jump early for it.

like others said just wasn't thought of but the reasoning being the wear on your body is so great and SSJ itself takes a toll on your body until they mastered it later on. now why kaioken SSB is a thing never made sense and should have destroyed his body especially when x20? or whatever was the standard and not just the basic x2.

They only have a what? 4 or 5 year age difference? Not really a grooming situation. While it would absolutely have been problematic them getting together as teens? By the time Z rolls around? Not a huge deal, just a couple childhood friends who became more than friends. 2-4 years. been forever since i read it but bulma is 16 at the start. i remember at first goku saying he was 12 but later saying he was 14. so if he was 14 then it would be 17 at the 2nd tournament and then 20 at the end of DB. so thinking of it like that 12/15/18 would make more sense with just how small goku was till the end.

seen that and some other korean shows get recommended on a squid games post so i was planning to check it out.

check out alice in borderlands if you haven't yet. another similar to squid games show. really good.

haven't played either but go with both. i plan to pick up both eventually. if you ever have people over than mario party is always a fun game to play. even casual gamers can pick it up easy but majority of people have played a mario party game before.

like others said it could easily live the switch 2 flopping and whatever is next. it went from the wii being the best selling console of the gen to the wii u being an absolute flop and then the switch potentially being the best selling system of all time by time it's done. so they have plenty of money saved up. but no way the switch 2 flops. they definitely had to have learned from the wii u and won't be having all the casual people thinking it's just a $400 add on again.

i'd love a true remake of them. gen 3 didn't have the physical/special split so that ruined so many pokemon. would be so much fun with a real remake and not lets go. i expect lets go johto to happen still but still hoping for that eventual true gen 1 remake.

i'm alright when it comes to electronics. never tried to fix like a toaster or microwave or something. definitely not worth fixing a toaster.

probably march or whenever the next direct is. i'm excepting the switch 2 to come out in the fall so it'll be the hot christmas item.

rumor is a new mario game is already finished for it. so probably finishing up a few more launch titles for it.

but yea like new game+ you should just be able to run through the whole game with 1 character. i loved the game. played it when it first came out. been wanting to go back and replay some. i did restart the 1st years ago on the ps3 remaster. was trying to get like DMD mode and the harder difficulties. got like halfway through and stopped.

thigh stop was more of a thing during like the pandemic or maybe it was before/after when they had a chicken wing shortage and they were jacking up the price of them. then them and a few other places started to market thighs as wings instead. could still get them coated in wing sauce but it was thighs. i tried it once but don't remember if it was thigh stop or a different one.

but if you want to make your own just fry up some thighs and get whatever sauce you want to coat them with. if you're crazy then mix atomic, blazing and the last dab together.

All the flavors taste super salty and the last time we got shit from there, my wife's order still had feathers on the wings. So they're definitely not cleaning their shit right at the location near me. Turns out they had a lot of complaints about that same issue online. I do enjoy their fries well enough though

i had that happen when i got frozen wings from the store and i was like wtf. but i just threw that one away. for them to just fry your wifes wings with the feathers still on and serve it to you is just crazy and shows how much they don't care about their job.

i tried them twice and both times it sucked tbh. worse than buffalo wild wings and i used to love them but their quality has dropped so much over the years i barely get it. could just be the wingstop i went to was just really bad. their ranch is freaking amazing though. the spicy korean sauce was good. i tried atomic as well but can't really remember if i liked it or not. i'll eventually give wing stop another try. do they do like half off wing days or anything?

pretty good but no steak is perfect without being on a charcoal grill. pan fried instead of grill in general is -2. then took off 1 for the mix of boxed potatoes and the chocolate malt. i like malts but i agree with the above poster and i just really can't see me drinking one with a steak dinner.

i just found some that said best by 2021 so i threw them away. was gonna go buy some but figured they were like $1.50 now which is still way more than the $1 or whatever i bought them for last time.

the first like 3? seasons of it was pretty bland but then it definitely picked up and became better than family guy for like a decade. family guy went downhill pretty hard after the life of brian and every time i do watch a new episode it just feels like the simpsons and it's just forced with no heart in it anymore. american dad started feeling like that as well so i quit watching like 5 years ago or so.

i remember playing some on the wii. don't remember if it was house of the dead or something else but was pretty cool just putting the wii remote into a gun attachment and playing. definitely not as responsive as the arcade.

game is kinda pointless without the light gun though. and with that depends on the price. not dropping $200 for it and it only works with 1 game. PC i would assume to have light gun support but not really the same feeling being crowded around a PC screen playing vs a giant tv. especially trying to play it with a friend.

i had the fighting one. don't think it was taagotchi still but like a sister brand to it. basically the same exact thing but with the ability to connect 2 together to fight.

they need to learn to tie all the games we buy to our accounts and just let us play them on each new console. why should i buy super mario bros on each console or have to pay $5 a month or whatever the subscription costs just so i can play it?

especially when all these 30+ year old games are so easy to emulate. technically not even illegal if you're dumping your own games but wasn't it proved that nintendo was just using pirated game roms for the switch online anyways? if not the switch then it was the virtual console. at least for super mario bros i'm pretty sure that got proved.

I still maintain that How I Met Your Father and That 90s Show had the potential to be great but they weren't given enough of a chance. Sitcoms are inherently character-focused, and you need time to figure out the characters and write around the actor's chemistries.

agreed. like yea HIMYF starts off slow but how many 1st seasons of shows aren't slow? you have to build the story and the characters. definitely felt season 2 was a step up and then it's just canceled. that 90s show i enjoyed a lot more than i thought i would but again canceled. so many streaming shows get cancelled way too fast with no ending.

also the problem is just how many streaming services are out now. plus you still have cable exclusive shows so unless you're paying like $200+ a month you're not gonna have access to everything.

the lower numbers here is what helps i think. but yea over the years i always liked coming here versus going to reddit or other sites about stuff. FB is god awful with all the morons about everything. X is just as bad from what i've seen but i really never bothered with X.

honestly that didn't look THAT bad. wasn't blatant phantom punches at least. lot of old WCW and WWF vids of like botches and they're like a foot away from hitting someone. that's why WWE has so many camera angles and cuts to help hide everything.

NJPW is generally pretty good if you wanna see people really hitting each other a lot more. stardom as well for the women.

if you think about it logically there's way more you can nitpick about how fake wrestling is. gotta think of it as what it is and that's entertainment and being a drama TV show.

no, i didn't even really play a game for most of the 1st week besides little mobile games. but been playing links awakening on the switch and pretty far into that. also started metroid prime remaster but i'm only like an hour into that. never beat it as a kid and never played the other prime games but i beat all the 2d ones except the wii one.

rite aid but they went out of business. so CVS since it's like half the distance as the closest walgreens to me. i've only been in walgreens like once that i can remember. maybe been there as a kid a few times. probably with my mom to get pictures developed unless rite aid did that too.

played it when it came out and loved it. probably the best in the series. just be warned it is definitely story heavy up front and i don't think you get a gun till like chapter 6 or 8.

commodore was the cheap pc back then but that was still way more expensive.

is there really a way to justify the extra $1000 for the 5090? i'm still on my 3080ti and see no reason to upgrade for awhile but honestly kinda crazy with new ones just constantly coming out now. every 2 years we get a new generation. guess in a few years when i start to notice mine not keeping up i'll get a 6090 when it drops to like $1k.

no, haven't gone since i was a teen. i kinda wonder if i still have my old library card somewhere. i been meaning to go just to check it out and see what all they have now.
