It's been around 2k for years after making it in 07, so alot of them must be dead. Now, I'm about to hit 3k by the end of the day it looks like, and stats are saying i gained 300+ in the last 28 days. Channels like mine should be pretty much dead...

It's just strange - my channel is mainly me just uploading my gaming sessions along with amvs, and often without commentary, so i've always liked the "no pressure" feel of it. I shared with you guys my love story video, and that shit took 3 months, and everything I had in me to make, so have been burnt out ever since.

Honestly, the whole thing is on auto pilot with guaranteed uploads scheduled to this date next year every 3 days, so I guess the consistency got me favored?

It's encouraging me to do some more stuff again a bit.

Go into YouTube Studio and check the analytics on your most viewed video(s). Sometimes if there's a sharp bump in views the algorithm will randomly suggest them more and give your channel more visibility. I have a video that's sitting roughly at 700K and every couple of months it'll randomly get a spike in views and short bursts of subs. Or it might be as simple as people typing half of your channel's name in the search bar, expecting something else >_>

consistency i'm sure is a factor in it. probably something hit the algorithm enough to get it in related vids or recommended or whatever.

You should do a collaboration with the other CE YouTube folks. Once you collab with pojr, your stuff will take off. Also, his channel is legit pretty good. Or collab with Crono and make weird shit. His channel is just him being himself and it's fucking fascinating
