He tries to boast about how he created the vaccine while also saying RFK Jr. is the "fake" anti-vaxx candidate in an attempt to court the anti-vaxxers.

It doesn't take much to retain loyalty from people who hold you to absolutely no standards whatsoever and that is largely the Republican party as of today.

We are seeing some consistent dissent, though. Haley's been out of the race for months, endorsed Trump, and yet there's still primaries where her zombie candidacy is getting 17-20% of the vote, a far larger and stronger protest vote against Trump than those 2 uncommitted votes which is also completely organic unlike the uncommitted votes which were organized and coordinated. There's a portion of Republicans who go out of their way to express their discontent with Trump and those are the people Biden tries to court when he says you don't have to agree with our views, but at least stand with us this time to preserve democracy.

There is a lot of variables going on in this election.

In 2016 Clinton lost TX to Trump by less than 3m. There was about 8-10m eligible voters that year who could have voted and didn't either due to gerrymandering or because attitudes like yours has led to people giving up over time and had the 3rd lowest voter participation that year. If she had just gotten 3m more votes in TX she would have one of "the reddest states in the nation". I believe Biden had an even smaller margin of loss in 2020 than Clinton had in 2016.

Also Arizona and Georgia were considered red states that Dems would never win, and yet they won them in 2020 due mostly to new voter turnout.

For a lot of states "my vote doesn't matter" because millions of people believe that. That's why Republicans go so hard on voter suppression and removing people from voter rolls. The majority of the U.S. doesn't vote, if millions more would the makeup would dramatically change.

This election season is the time to just say it straight out without any of the niceties we grew up taught to display in order to respect opposing political opinions. The modern GOP is evil, and has been for a long time. Donald Trump is evil, and has been since before he entered politics.

If you vote GOP or refuse to vote for Biden, the only realistic alternative at this point, then you are endorsing evil. You are allowing it to slither into power, to harm this country, and to hurt marginalized people who are our neighbors and friends.

Biden is absolutely flawed and makes mistakes. I dont care, and neither should anyone else. This time there is clearly a good side and a bad side, and a refusal to endorse the good and figure the rest out later means you are on the wrong side.

Keep in mind all security normally can do is be watchful of people and not get physical. That also included around covid time when customers were touching coworkers and getting upset with them with the mask rules.

Ok, well, if customers are touching employees then that absolutely calls for getting physical to protect them. Can't say I enjoy that detail of just letting employees get assaulted.

My store we had people tearing up the Pride section. We also had people harassing customer service or not wanting to leave the store being offended.
