Apparently there's a new Gallup poll showing that bodily autonomy (abortion) rights were the top thing responders said they'd be voting on, however I use 2018+ elections (many after 2020+ reflected the loss of bodily autonomy rights) as my general litmus test for enthusiasm.

Certainly don't think Biden has it in the bag, I'll never be confident or certain after 2016, however definitely not a doomer.

If it counts, I walk very quietly. Growing up, it always stood out to me how loudly my mom and grandmother walked. It sounded like they were stomping down the hallway. And I didn't want to be like that when I got older.

So now my regular walk is very quiet. I unintentionally startle people at work all the time because they don't hear me coming lol

Was post #92 even tagging anybody? I only saw one person constantly tagging others, #91 being a mod talking about how tagging others when they ask not to be could be considered trolling, and then in #93 they said they were closing the thread because it had devolved into a "tagging war".

I have who #92 is blocked, so maybe they did tag someone, however even if they did it was nothing compared to that one poster who was constantly tagging people.

I won't say their name because I don't want them to seek needlessly limp-dick retribution against me, however it's one particular mod with a single word name I see doing the most of it and deciding that threads need to be closed after 1-2 posts after them criticizing a thread.

Yeah most people with a functional brain understood what he meant, unfortunately it's a bad quote and no amount of understanding of context helps Biden in the grand scheme of things. The other night I was arguing with a coworker who said something about Biden "wanting to turn us all black, trans, or into immigrants" (I think, I forgot what the 3rd one was, though I think that's it), and when I asked him wtf he was talking about the only thing he provided was a clip from MSNBC of him telling someone (I assume Charlemagne') the "you ain't black" quote.

Which was still super dumb because that's not "evidence" of him wanting to "turn us black", still, we can't ignore how foolish it was for him to say something like that as someone who is whiter than snow and we'll have to contend with it for the rest of time that he's in politics because he did say it.

Yep. I try not to be all conspiratorial about the mods having a right-wing bias, however there are 100% at least some mods who have a far-right bias and it's really the luck of the draw on whoever gets your moderation for review.

Nah, I don't remember their name exactly, they were a Dutch account with a singular name who had a name that "mostly" made sense, however there was a letter or 2 that was off base. It was a single word that begin with a k, if I'm not mistaken; all lower case. They constantly talked up the merits of having a singular race society.

Whenever I burp/sneeze I always say "excuse me" even if I'm alone in a room. It was something my parents drove into my while growing up and at this point it's a Pavlovian response. My parents instilled this within me and this isn't me being bitter over it as I think it's to better to "have and not need than need and not have" in this case, just wondering on what others have to say.
