If you're talking about Leonard Leo, he's like the main guy orchestrating the Heritage Foundation, if I'm not mistaken, and has been in the news semi-recently for like the first time ever because of Thomas & Alito being exposed for taking bribes, or as they'd call them, "totally innocent and not at all concerning gifts". It's been discussed a lot, but never seen a poll. Hearing more about him hurting Biden lately, but I still don't see it either way. Most polls that include him also include Stein and Cornell West, so of course Biden does worse... There's quite a few of them out there. Initially Republicans believed it'd hurt Biden more, which is why Faux News and Trump kept talking him up positively, however when RFK Jr. actually started explaining his views and where he stands the polling showed he'd likely take more from Trump, because they're both fucking monsters and Republicans eat that up like pigs eat shit. On his views/issues, he takes more Trump. On "bleh they're all just so old I'm over this" (even though RFK Jr. is no spring chicken), I'd say it hurts Biden more. It's super distressing how many interviews I've heard of young people saying they want RFK Jr. because of the age issue. My respect for him and his intelligence was why I ended up conservative & Republican for my teenage-early 20s. This past May while in IA attending a cousin's graduation him and my Aunt were watching Faux News. DeSantis was on there and my dad made a comment like "Boy I really wish he was more popular", which you know DeShitbag is one of the worst human beings imaginable, however at least it doesn't show blind devotion to Trump? I'm hoping he supported Haley in the primary because I know Faux News and talk radio has poisoned him from ever reasonably considering a Dem.
I'm grateful at least that he doesn't have to inject politics into every single topic and he also doesn't just randomly push their narratives, however when he, my aunt, and my uncle from Alabama (one of the most degenerate people I know when it comes to politics) were in the same room I could tell he was having fun yucking it up with the rest of them over right-wing propaganda and conspiracies. In contrast, my mom is pretty awesome, though she does fall into some stereotypical mainstream news rabbit holes. The day when Trump was convicted I went over to her house and I was all "Did you hear Trump was convicted?" And she said "yep, was just hearing about it on the news". We started talking and she made a comment like "I hate Trump, but I don't like Biden either", and I simply asked her why without any sort of hostile tone or derision. I gave her some time to think and she honestly could not come up with an answer. I could see on her face that she was genuinely trying to figure out why. The other day I shared with her that my aunt is nervous to come here to El Paso (where she grew up in the 70s) for my graduation because she watches Faux News all day and their fearmongering (in this case over immigrants and increased crime) is what they specialize in.
