i don't think you can honestly say democracy and everyone having the right to vote is the optimal way of doing things when gullible idiots are actually choosing to elect people like this to office.

it has no chance of ever happening for a number of reasons, but i honestly believe we would be better off as a society if we instituted mandatory voter education classes and voting license tests. just like driving. you wouldn't want to allow someone out on the road without knowing how to drive and proving they can do so responsibly, right?
