You think the amount of side quests in FFXV is large, try Xenoblade Chronicles and it's list of well over 400 side quests. Just like with most side quests in JRPGs though, they're mostly there for quick money/EXP.

I actually like how they're handled in Xenoblade Chronicles. There's a ton of them, but most of them are completed without having to go back to the quest giver. Got a quest to kill 10 monsters? You get the rewards the moment you land the killing blow on the 10th monster. It makes it really easy to just take every quest you see and just do them as you explore.

I just want to say that, quotas are not a thing. A cop can literally give 0 tickets if they wanted to. But the point of tickets is to be a deterrent. To make you think twice about doing something, for fear of another ticket.

Meh phone laws when driving are absolutely stupid. Using your gps or talking to someone about directions/where to pick them up are pretty valid. Its so easy to talk on a phone and drive. I do agree that teens/inexperienced drivers using their phones to play games or whatever are worse than drunk drivers. But the rest of us are punished because of it. Imo the easy solution: if you have had a valid license for at least 5 years you cant get ticketed for using your phone while driving. But rookie drivers need to earn that trust and can still be ticketed

There's already a solution though: Bluetooth. Much less of a distraction than having to look at your phone.

Also, as long as there are other people on the road with you, how good of a driver you are doesn't matter. I can't tell you how many times people have done something stupid, or unexpected, that would have caused an accident if I didn't react right away. The fewer distractions you have, the better.

The bra helps support the breasts and keep them from moving around a lot. I've always been told that they also help prevent sagging, but I feel like sagging is hard to avoid with large breasts anyway.

My ex had DD's and if she didn't wear a bra, her breasts were flopping all over the place as she moved (which she says was very uncomfortable). So she always wore a bra at work, or in public, but she took it off immediately when she got home.

If you like the series, sure. I found it fun, but the story was just okay.

Playing through the story again on True Vault Hunter Mode though? That was amazing and I don't feel like it's talked about enough.

The Pre-Sequel is named that because it takes place after Borderlands 2, but it's a narration of events that happened before Borderlands 2 (so it's both a prequel and a sequel). And in True Value Hunter Mode, the narration is done by Tiny Tina and Brick and the differences are hilarious.

I think the problem with electrical powers is that there are a lot of applications, but most characters with the power only have 1 or 2 abilities. Imagine if you had

• Lightning Teleportation
• Electrical Levitation
• Electrical Enhanced Condition (enhanced strength and reflexes)
• Electrokinetic Invisibility
• Electrical Telepathy
• Electrical Healing

That would be so overpowered lol.

It really depends on how strong powers you get. If your power is simply to "create electricity" it is pretty dang shitty since you can't really control where it goes. You would probably kill someone on accident within a week, or at the very least fuck up all your electronics "trying to power them" or some shit.

Ice is better because it just goes where you tell and stays there. Also way less lethal and has more practical applications that don't also have life threatening accidents that could happen.

If we are talking about MAX level power, I would still take ice since that means you could technically also freeze time.

Tldr: electricity is too random to be good

I don't know... I feel like "freeze time" being considered an ice power is kind of cheating lol.

I really enjoyed the Walking Dead when it first started. The problem is that it drags on and on. I know the comics went on for a long time, but the show really could have benefited from being shorter.

That said though, there are still some really good moments in there, in between all of the super slow episodes. Hope you enjoy it TC.

...this has been addressed so many times. The upkeep and custodianship of buildings is a valuable service that should be compensated fairly. No one is arguing otherwise. The problem people have with landlords is not that they charge for such services. And providing those services are not integral to being a landlord. Yes, in some countries landlords are responsible for those things. That's because the law prohibits them from more blatant exploitation, not because it's something that's inherent to being a landlord. Being a landlord, by definition, is when you hoard housing you don't personally need and you use it to exploit people and make a profit.

While similar, the need for temporary housing like hotels is different from the basic human right to a home. I would still say that your intent to make a profit from just owning something is exploitative inherently, but the people you're looking to exploit "can take it", in a sense. But of course it's a bit of a different issue than landlords and the solutions to it don't necessarily have to be the same. I suppose one could argue that you'd be doing a mild form of imperialism, since you're laying claim to a foreign resource and use it to make money.

Which is why I suggested more laws to help renters, rather than "abolish landlords" with no real solution as an alternative.

The more I read these posts though, the more it seems like your issue is with landlords that own and rent out, single family homes. What about the ones that own apartment complexes? Do you have the same issue with those landlords?

You seem to be completely misunderstanding what I'm saying. I'm saying that landlords are exploitative and should be abolished. I'm not making a detailed policy proposal for how to do that.
I'm also not saying that maintenance, utilities, etc should be free. Upkeep and custodianship are services that should be fairly compensated. Owning a property is not a service.

Except that, by renting out a property, the owner is required to handle upkeep and custodianship. You guys act like landlords literally do nothing. If the hot water stops working? The landlord fixes that and pays for it themselves. Same with any electrical issues, heating, roofing, plumbing, and so on.

The entire anti landlord argument in this topic, is predicated on the idea that landlords get money for doing nothing. But, landlords do a lot. If it's one person managing a large apartment complex, they can be damn busy.

My other issue (and this is more with the topic as a whole, not you specifically), is the alternative would be government housing. That may work well in other countries, but in the US, while government housing is cheap and affordable, it's also rundown and poorly maintained. Because anything the government does has to go through redundant forms and multiple approvals. So fixes take forever. Oh and there's a waitlist for those properties, because, you guessed it, redundant forms and multiple approvals, before new residents can be accepted.

Rather than abolish landlords, what should be done is implement better protections for renters. In the city of Los Angeles, properties are rent controlled. Meaning, rent can't be increased by more than 8% at a time. And rent can only be increased once every 12 months. But in other cities within LA county, like Hawthorne, outside of the lease period, there's no maximum and no limit on how many times it can be raised. The only law is that renters must be given written notice that the increase will be happening. 30 days for 9% and below, or 60 days if the increase is 10% or more. Those are the areas that can be potentially exploitative. But the problem is the lack of laws preventing the exploitation.

Only during 7th and 8th grade. I was only at each school for a year, but those were easily my worst school years. 7th grade I was picked on because I was bad at sports, so it was mostly verbal. But they did play keep way with my watch once and it was broken by the time I got it from them.

8th grade though, that was an entirely different monster. I was punched, kicked, spit on, had my things stolen from my locker, had my locker filled with trash, harrassed anytime I went to the bathroom at school... the list goes on. And it all started because I stopped letting the main guy copy my homework after the teacher gave us both 0's for it.

At work though, no, I'm not bullied. I would like to think that my former bullies are stuck in some dead end minimum wage job and I'll never see them again. But who knows lol.
