I mean to be fair, most millenials have never known a world without the Internet. Most gen Xers have never known a world without television. Theres always going to be some ubiquitous piece of technology that evolves how people perceive and engage with society/media.

Millennial here. Happy to have had the experiences I had growing up. The World Wide Web was barely a thing, no social media, no smartphones. Got to see what the world was like before we all depended on these things. Also 90's culture was kind of awesome.

I tend to relate more to Gen Z despite being born in 92. That and for some reason I seldom get along with people my own age. Older or younger its typically fine, but anybody thats literally 28 I just cant deal with. Its a bizarre thing.

Most zoomers are nice enough kids, but as a whole, they're so jaded and bitter from being raised on the interwebs, that they forgot to develop personalities.

I did add that first part, so that's cancelled out. But I dunno. My 15 year old niece is my favorite person and she makes everything more fun. I think if we dig into the overall mindstate of each generation you can make a case it's devoid of personality. I like how music is starting to actually address mental issues on a much larger scale.

Oh, I dont think well fix jackshit, thats never been a generational issue. But people born around and after the start of 2000s have a capability of learning new technology that has never been seen thanks to the ubiquity of it. Im not saying plenty of Milennials cant also, but by ratio, I think a substantially higher amount of Gen Z can. The race of technology is only going to accelerate in coming years and I honestly think Gen X/older millennials as a whole will be more lost on it than Boomers are now with computers

Being a zoomer is based

tbh I don't identify with most stereotypes of this gen, maybe because I'm kind of a weirdo (by any generations standard).
I avoid social media, as constantly comparing yourself to others fucks with your head and I avoid mindless consumerism and materialism.

I admire Gen Z's concern for issues like the enviroment and mental health issues (my grandma says both are bullshit).

Yes. School is not what it was when most of us were growing up and these kids legitimately dont learn anything. Literature is now considered racist, history is watered down for the same reasons, so the only things they focus on are science and math. Politics are also being forced on kids at a very young age.

The modern cartoons and media suck. Why is it that these modern western cartoonists draw everyone to look so hideous? Very unappealing in some ways and the quality of the shows themselves is garbage compared to the stuff we had in the late 80s and early 90s.

The kids parents are often really young and inattentive people who are genuinely not finished trying to be young and social, so the kids are basically raised by the Xbox. Basically, if your parents are boomers, then you very likely have the ability to get financial help from them. Zero tolerance protects antagonists (bullies) and punishes victims when they stand up for themselves. Sorry, but nobody wants to be a tattletale.

I'm a millennial and I was literally taught:
- the us has never lost a war
- absolutely nothing post WW2
- Rome was the US of the ancient world and it was great and everyone loved Rome

I listed to hardcore history and couldn't BELIEVE how much was white washed and ignored
