I got shit because I went to school with rich kids and I didnt have hollister and Abercrombie (because I couldnt pay $35 for a tshirt). The problem was that zero tolerance crap. It allows kids to antagonize you relentlessly (if the teacher doesnt see it then nothing will ever happen) and if you finally snap and kick some kids ass then you go to jevenile hall. For literally standing up to a bully. The victim is labeled a bully and put in the criminal system. When I was a little kid, you could kick a bullys ass without getting in trouble, but by the time I was in third grade you couldnt defend yourself. Yes, but if someone is intimidated enough they won't use those tools. I've had to call HR on my own boss for how he was treating a co-worker. I was only at each school for a year, but those were easily my worst school years. 7th grade I was picked on because I was bad at sports, so it was mostly verbal. But they did play keep way with my watch once and it was broken by the time I got it from them. 8th grade though, that was an entirely different monster. I was punched, kicked, spit on, had my things stolen from my locker, had my locker filled with trash, harrassed anytime I went to the bathroom at school... the list goes on. And it all started because I stopped letting the main guy copy my homework after the teacher gave us both 0's for it. At work though, no, I'm not bullied. I would like to think that my former bullies are stuck in some dead end minimum wage job and I'll never see them again.
