If you do MM map early, you'll have to pass up on a lot of them to finish the map first. Better to just wait to do the map, there isn't even anything major you're missing out on like weapon upgrades, mostly cosmetics. Actually, you should just go for the giants first on that map. Once you have the giants, the moon stops. That way you can take your time to collect the rewards.
