While that can still happen, being able to take my switch me has made that less of a problem. Also, not being with my friends 24/7. Though, that's only because I had to move halfway across the country for work. I'd rather be with them... And a few that were really hard, and I couldn't get past something. But that hasn't happened for a long time... That being said, I have actually quit games on PC for being hard, then picking them up for switch and doing much better... Philip027 posted... From my understanding, it's not a small game. It's not a small game. But like adjl said, you don't have to get to the end for it to get better. Early on, it got the point I wanted weapons to break because there were so many weapons to try out. And lots of costumes to help with exploring. Though, I probably liked BotW's more than the other open world games. There are some other games that have amazing tutorials, but I can't think of them right now. That's because you couldn't port those games. They were made using the tech to make it 3D. Even if they ported it, they would have changed the color scheme and make it not 3D or whahtever. Which makes it a different game. Though, if it makes you feel better, they also made games that were in series (like Wario Land, Mario Tennis, and Bomberman) and games that already existed in different forms (like Tetris, Pinball, and Space Invaders). And many of those would have been different anyway since the virtual boy was made to be "Virtual Reality". Which means the games would actually have to be different, even if they ported them. And you'd probably cry about that, as well... As for the others not making crap consoles, that what we call subjective. Just because you think their consoles are crap doesn't mean others feel the same way... I've heard bad things about every console... Like every single one...Whether on here, Facebook, Reddit, or some other site, every console has had people who have called them bad. Just because you don't agree means nothing. That's like saying Hyrule Warriors was an incomplete game because it had DLC. But it had a full story mode, and an adventure map. They just release DLC that you didn't need. And HWL had a full story (4, in fact), and multiple side maps. But they sold DLC. By you're logic, those games would have been incomplete. Which is false. And if you think they were, they you must not know what the word incomplete means... You also aren't getting screwed. You got exactly what you paid for, which is a full game. Also, the other companies already do that. They release the same games over, but with better graphics, or new mechanics, or something else. Not to mention the games that will release for a different system years later. A lot of indie Devs do that. If you feel like you're getting screwed, then don't buy it. But others will for many reasons. Maybe they couldn't afford the other system at the time. Or missed out on it. Or want the game for this system. Just because you're salty that the Wii U isn't getting anything new doesn't mean you should want the game company to never release the same game. It helps the company and the customers. If you don't like the company practices, then stop buying from them. It's pretty simple. So again, you're not locked out. You just don't want to buy it. And that's fine. But locked out is something different... Also, other people don't spend their savings on video games. You really are being melodramatic. What's funny is you talk about other people spending their savings on video games, but also talking about how you need video games to live. Most people just save up for a game they want. I used to work as a cart pusher at Wal-Mart when I was younger so I would dread hot days. When it rained, I would refuse to wear the ponchos they gave us and I would just get soaked. It felt good to me. I live in California so I admit that I've never had to deal with real cold. It did hail once while I was working though! That was weird. I guess staying inside is a good solution for both extreme heat and extreme cold as long as you have AC and a heater. I use to do cart pushing, as well. But for Target. I'm from Maryland, so I actually had to deal with the cold all the time. I wasn't a fan. Especially when we had blizzards. The only good thing was school closures. But they didn't happen as much since we were pretty use to the snow... Meaning I could end up uncomfortable and still cold... So, the Always putting on more clothes things never really works for me. That being said, I can stand the heat way easier. A fan is pretty much all I need. Especially when nude. But the heat doesnt usually get uncomfortable for a while to me.
