As for the character switching, extra characters, and extra maps, those came out with HW: Legends... Food will be in a brown pot, IIRC... For the characters, I went to every adventure map to unlock them early. That way, you can start training them right away. I would recommend doing that. Weapons, too. Not to mention dishes, as you already did. And I already hate regular dishes, so... And I already like cooking. But my homemade pizza will always end up being way more expensive. And in the end, I definitely wont like it as much. So I end up spending more time, money, and resources, yet still end up with an inferior product...At least, when it comes to pizza for me... Plus, I like having restaurants for stuff like this.
