For a game to look good

Things need to be animated such that you can get a sense of their weight. So many games have giant hulking things that walk/turn without any sense of weight. Or the character animations aren't fleshed out. Even tiny animations make a big difference.

Animations are what give life to the characters, more than how rounded they are or how much detail is in their skin

Animating the environment makes it feel real and active and alive.

A game can have realistic lighting, good textures, and hi-poly models, but if the animations are lacking or low-quality, it feels less realistic and engrossing to me than if it had crappy graphics but good animations.

The character designs are based on the old Mickey Mouse cartoons but other than that it seems like a pretty modern cartoon.

Pretty modern-looking backgrounds

I'd say it's drawn to be a modern-looking cartoon that uses modified versions of the old character designs

It sound great in theory to say anybody should be able to play anybody, but the thing is, lgbt people often only get to play gay/trans/queer roles, while straight people get to play whatever they want.

I don't have anything against straight men playing gay roles. I just prioritize those roles for gay actors since a lot of them only really get cast for gay roles AT ALL.

The whole reason Trump doesn't want to concede is because of his pride. If he had been gracious from the start, he'd still be embarrassed to lose, but he could at least try to look good by accepting defeat.

But the second he said he wouldn't accept the results, he started digging a hole for himself. Now he says he has won and refuses to concede, he's just digging it deeper. To him this is his only way to not be humiliated, it's less humiliating to say the race was stolen from him than to admit he lost it. He's trying desperately to protect his pride.

If he changes tune and admits he lost, it would be even more embarrassing than if he had just admitted defeat last week. It would mean admitting his whining was nothing but pretenses which would be even more humiliating.

That said, it might be just as embarrassing to keep insisting that he won if the world just laughs and mocks him. But he's hoping that even if it doesn't actually work at keeping him the president, his fans at least will continue to think that the election was rigged for him to lose.

It will take a lot of convincing to make him agree to backtrack and publicly admit he's lost.

I don't really care as long as it's creative. Galaxy is fairly linear but it's also hella inventive. Sunshine and Odyssey are great fun too.

I trust Nintendo to make something amazing -- BUT I do expect them to take risks and go wild! Not play it safe like 3D world or NSMB games.

Either sow discord within the party itself or uh...eliminate them....

edit: the former is actually the best way since the party loses its influence but also malicious.

the last way is unity, by bridging the party into a larger entity. This is unfortunately the hardest. Normally the only unity that happens is when there is a huge common goal in sight, like a threat of war unto the country itself or alien invasion or whatever

Some kind of passive cultural shift would do a lot to change their harmful views while the older ones die off over time.

Media like fox news, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and Bill o-reilly are a huge part of what fostered trump's fanbase now. I'm confident that if America's news networks were like the UK's where they are mostly impartial and not so alarmist, Trump would never EVER have been able to get enough support to run.

Consider how trump fans have reacted to things he's done the past four years. Or how they reacted to facts and guides regarding the pandemic and how not to spread it. Even if you try to show them reason they refuse. It's not like people haven't tried to reason with them.

Trump fans don't listen to reason. They even somehow interpreted an actual virus as a hoax by liberals and refused to take precautions :|

Yeah it gets really bad on there, both because of the conformity-encouraging nature of their voting system and because they ban/censor anybody they disagree with.

I joined the conservative subreddit discord a few months ago to watch their discussions now and then. It was fun. But a few days ago they blocked everybody from there unless you can verify that you're conservative with a social network account or prove over time that you're conservative. It's pathetic

He's only protesting because in his eyes if he can convince people it was unfairly stolen from him, that's less humiliating than admitting defeat after all his years of bluster. It's all about minimizing his humiliation at this point, that is his #1 priority.

Every time for the past week that I check in, they expect me to watch 30 seconds of ads before I can start looking at a streamer.
