I like courage the cowardly dog too and it does have a few episodes that are pretty poignant and kind-hearted

but if you think it has anywhere near the social impact of steven universe you're just pretending. SU chartered a lot of the progress that the cartoon landscape has made as far as inclusiveness goes. Tons of kids like the show and I'm sure a lot of them who see these clips/comics are going to genuinely consider them because they like the show so much.

Those of you saying "I'll never talk to somebody who tells me what pronouns they want"

one day you probably will encounter somebody who prefers to be addressed as pronouns you don't see them as. There's somebody at my workplace who is trans and whose name tag has a male name + "he/him" on it. A nice person and very friendly

When you meet somebody like that, standing right in front of you and talking with you, I hope you would reevaluate how minor and easy it is to just grant them that kindness. The same way you would probably be willing to grant an adopted person the kindness of acknowledging their adoptive family as true family.

Cyberpunk is abysmally glitchy, restarts itself randomly, and performs really badly on a lot of its releases. But I still think NMS came out even worse.

Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, and Dante/Vergil alone would destroy every DLC they have put out so far besides Banjo.

Um that is very wrong.

Minecraft is like ten times bigger than Devil May Cry and it has a much more active community.

Devil May Cry is not close to as big as Minecraft, Dragon Quest, or Final Fantasy. It is comparable to Persona or Banjo though.

Crash and Spyro are also not as big as the ones I listed, but I know Crash is at least bigger than DMC (spyro is probably pretty similar to DMC)

Youtube algorithm rewards shit content like that, but when they tried to launch themselves as a genuine streaming service that people should subscribe to, in the same arena as companies like Netflix, they found nobody wants to pay for a subscription when your content is THAT.

They should reevaluate what kind of content they want to promote. It can get views and ad money but I think in the long run shaping their site to promote that kind of content isn't the best option for them. And if you're a youtuber, you can either put a lot of effort into making good videos that won't earn as much, or you can make crappy daily videos and make exponentially more money.

Dunkey's experiment shows dramatically that youtubers who make lots of money are often making their videos crappy intentionally because of certain tricks that can generate them a lot more money

It's absolutely working over the algorithm. His dumb logan paul video he made the other day has been listed as a related video for just about EVERY video I've watched since it came out, and it's always on my front page. It's not even funny as a parody video tbh but it's absolutely effective at showing how low-quality videos get pushed so hard by the youtube algorithm.
