Saying Bond movies copy other movies seems unnecessarily aggressive tbh. Bond movies definitely are inspired by other movies and are relics of their era while still having their own identity. That's what makes them so great tbh. And really also explains the Craig era Jason Bourne-eque Bond movies.

It's not aggressive. Bond films have historically borrowed from whatever is popular at the time. The Man With the Golden Gun had an extended martial arts sequence because of the popularity of Enter the Dragon. Live and Let Die tried to capitalize off of the Blaxploitation genre. More recently, Casino Royale and Skyfall borrowed from The Bourne Identity and The Dark Knight respectively.

Moonraker was 100% attempting to capitalize on the success of Star Wars.
