eh, the thing that kind of bugs me about the new rayman games I guess is collecting all the teenies and cups and junk. Like I don't really feel like there's a good "flow" to most of the levels that let you build up some momentum and feel like you're blazing through levels and improving skill wise because you have to stop every 30 seconds to find one or a bonus room behind some random bit of foreground (I hated that about DKCR too, what with all the bajillion puzzle pieces in each level and dandelions and crap and people complain about rare games being "collectathons" but stuff like that or rayman are just so much worse than they are about it argh). and I just don't really have much enthusiasm for going back to old levels for one or two teensies or because I didn't get enough lums.

I think you are overblowing the need to collect things in Legends at the very least. I forget about Origins requirements. I think that in order to beat the game, you need to collect 290 Teensies. Lums and Trophies aren't needed at all to finish the game. A significant amount of Teensies are out in the open in the main path to beat the level, and there are numerous levels where you are being chased or otherwise funneled into a specific path with either all or 8/10 (in applicable levels) of the Teensies just there for the taking if you can time a kick/spin.

KCF has beaten Rayman Legends

I didn't have much of a history with the older Rayman titles (maybe just Hoodlum Havoc), but I loved Origins/Legends. I had been itching to replay them, but when I say Legends was $5 on XBL a few months back, that was the sign (let's ignore that I didn't actually begin until April). There aren't many other designers out there with a trio of more impressive games than Michel Ancel and Rayman Legends/Origins and Beyond Good & Evil.

I have absolutely no intention of trying to unlock all the characters or gain the highest level of awesome, but I am going to get all the Teensies and do the post-game music world

I really need to get back to Rabbids. I'm getting further in Rayman Legends though. I'm about to wrap up Fiesta de los Muertos. I have been going back to finish the few levels I don't grab everything my first time through as well as the invasion levels, but I'm think I will just play each level once until I beat it and then go back and replay the levels. I probably won't touch the Origins levels unless I somehow need the Teensies.

I did end up getting a gold trophy on a weekly challenge, so I have exceeded my best performance when I played it on PS3 in 2013 or 2014.
