I'm up to Snowbound in ONRUSH. After going through 80% or so through the game, I think that I prefer the increased handling of the lower vehicle classes over the power of the higher classes. Vortex and Outlaw might be my favorite vehicles now.

I'm about 20% through Gato Roboto. This game is a little more challenging than I expected. I was aggressively careless in the first fight to where I died twice. Since then, I have only died when outside of a vehicle since it is a one-hit death as a cat. I wish there was an incentive for attacking enemies. I ignore them the best that I can as a result.

So for transparency, the crisis was that for the second time in our history, I had to re-sim a portion of the week. During the preseason, we had a scare where the game kept freezing on me. Even though the source of the issue was found, I have been cautious since and only sim 2-3 games at a time before saving and repeat the process until the week is over. Well, after the conclusion of the sim, I informed of users who needed to make transactions due to injuries and I received other inquiries/change requests too. I thought that I had saved in the midst of this, so when I made a critical error in a request, I backed out of the game and went back thinking I could easily redo what I needed to.

It turns out that I had last saved with three games left to sim, including one game that had a ton of injuries and some post-injury signings. The other two games (Dolphins/Jets and Vikings/Packers) were relatively easy to replicate both winning team and injuries, but the Bears/Steelers took forever to get a result that felt close enough to work with.

A local place that shut down when I was in college had this incredible white gold flavor that was butterscotch ice cream with cinnamon/caramel swirls and white chips. I'm not sure if it a proprietary flavor, but I have never seen another ice cream shop sell it nor seen it in a grocery store.

I went through the entirety of Origins in ONRUSH late in the morning, and I had enough of a blast that I went ahead and bought the PS4 version too since it was only $2.50. There's nothing like a great racing game I tell you.

I will say that while I never had to repeat events and was named MVP in all of them (I am assuming it is a low bar to be named it in the first chapter though), I felt like I was struggling a little bit in the Countdown events. Maybe I should focus less on making it through those checkpoints and rely on my team a little more because I wasn't being aggressive and got knocked out a bunch.

What is Game of the Month Club?
Game of the Month is a community project open to all B8ers where users share, discover, play and/or discuss a select few games every month. The games featured each month are chosen by YOU the users (and Lady Luck)

The Basics
- Each month will usually feature three games that were chosen via a random drawing from a pool of games that users nominated
- For each game you beat, you get a cool point on our just-for-fun standings as well as a nomination for next month's randomized drawing
- In order to receive the point and nomination, you must beat said game within the calendar month
- If you beat one of the current month's games in the previous month, you can apply for a "recently beaten waiver," but you will only receive a point and no nomination should you do so
- Drawing for next month's games is usually around a week before the end of the month
- If you periodically keep us posted on your progress and/or talk about different aspects of the games, then everyone will think you are super awesome!

Nomination Rules
- You get one nomination automatically each month
