I will say though that I really like how it's a very geocities song with a very geocities video, and makes a self-aware gag out of that. I just really like the 90s style the video for it specifically evokes, but yeah her other stuff is on point too. I only really became particularly aware of her about half a year ago when she was really pushing to collab with Kaf (who at the time hadn't blown up into the biggest virtual singer around). In fact, I think AZKi still tripled her subscriber count then)... It's a bit of a shame that never came to fruition, AZKi just got left in the dust without much of a say in the matter. As for the colour thing... not even i really know. I made the distinction of saying this one was red mainly because they reflect pretty different genres and all, so i was hoping you'd check the other ones out if you didn't like this one. Generally, I think Black's my least favourite music-wise but Fake Fake Fake is pretty cool. YuNi also sometimes does a colour thing, maybe that's where it came from...? Oh yeah. Also, in case you're curious about the connection to Minato Aqua, they're in this one pretty major vtuber brand together: Hololive. It's... a thing.  |

I went with PSMD there *barely* but this time? ...Yeah I have no idea. This match is too good. I love Hopes and Dreams a lot of a lot... Which is why it hurts that this match isn't even close to me. Route 42ne and mis42ne. I hope this polarising and goofy boss theme doesn't murder tsurugi, i just deemed it necessary to fill a quota of silly guitars that define murasaki's soundtracks |

It's too bad it doesn't grab me outside of that but i guess it didn't have much of a chance after you're my #1 and also I've just never gotten the hype for it :/ Aria of the Soul fails as an arrangement at capturing the appeal (soul) of persona music, but it has a surprising amount of appeal in its own right. Seven gamer minutes except not because real gamers would only hear this song for limited intervals of definitely not seven minutes before entering a battle. Deep. I really like Afterimage a lot so it's unfortunate it had to get a matchup like this. Coronetia Corn good. I was already pleasantly surprised to see my first song go out after over 40 songs in, but for it to be the only one in the bottom hundred (even knowing how much it is flooded with NFUN's pick) is a surprise. Especially factoring in the fact I was really close to picking another song that apparently would've been outside the bottom hundred too Judging from the comments on it, i guess it's very safe to say I won't be that safe for that much longer, but hey. Still pretty happy all things considered. Props to those who managed to achieve likewise, especially raka like damn. |

| UF8 09/25/19 9:34:24 AM #17 | goldenslaughterer Umemoto Sweets Palace gs is such a cool song, epic zts is always strong to me. perhaps to an embarrassing degree, that i still haven't moved on from it like the rest of the board. idunno. ohwell. it's a good mood. gs never stood out enough to me to be my favourite but on its own it's really strong. though they all are. but still. i don't think i've ever done a full ranking of them even though i've listened to all of them together a bajillion times i should do that maybe. anywya i tend to be pretty harsh on LotDH because most of its appeal comes from something that is entirely too distinguishable separately from Touhou to ever attribute to it. And well, knowing that, it underwhelms me as an arrangement, because I'd rather hear a full-blown touhou take on it, and it's too low energy to be that. it's not that bad really but yeah it has its work cut out for it to engage me in a positive sense because of that before anyone accidentally starts thinking i have valid opinions i guess i'll give my full thoughts on match 2. i like umemoto :) i also like amusement park :) they are (surprisingly) good :) (even though i've already heard them too many times) freezing space.................. is cool. i'm sorry folks. having said that, I'm really feeling sweets palace today............ .......i guess you could say it hit the sweet spot. i should probably stop, these puns are hurting me more than the loss of ougon which goldenslaughterer had to remind me of. curse you zts |

Pretty sad. |

Yeah I can't blame you. She's no virtual singer or anything, merely someone with the right character of sorts for the song. (underrated channel though, she has quite a few very strong videos but they don't get translated) My favourite vtuber cover of this song is probably this one, which happens to be with someone she's actually collaborated with a few times.  I largely just included asamiya yuri's one because of those production values lol |
