First match is an easy no-brainer, I am not fond of Melodies of Life!

Second match is super close, and if this were me from several years back I would've voted the other way! I've really grown a love for incoherent chanting.

B.T. Dutch is my all-time favorite weird VGM, and is something I was always too afraid to nominate for VGMC . This is one of my top 10 or top 15 favorite tracks in the entire contest, so thank you for nominating this! Mirai the Heroine sounds like a classic SNES RPG tune played with the Rivals of Aether soundfont, also really cool! Still, an easy pick!

G-Darius - B.T. Dutch: 9.5. Oh my yes. This is G-Darius at its most industrial, with whirring piston noises and an overwhelming factory sound. There's also a dominant male voice that occasionally calls out YOU. This is a very weird song, but everything just comes together so well to create an unforgettable package. My favorite part is the part right before the loop, when everything coalesces into this vacuum cleaner of sound. Yet again, this isn't even my favorite from this set. Will we get to hear my favorite...?

Tangledeep - Mirai the Heroine: 9.5. This was my favorite from the Tangledeep set. Lush SNES sounds create this dual atmosphere of sadness and hope. Very DESTINY but in a good way. The song changes over time and new things unfold with an element of playful surprise. It's a very majestic song, fit for a royal parade.

Damn, that is a good snubs match.

BT Dutch is kinda bad, but Mirai's a lot of fun. Nails the SNES RPG feel in a good way. Could imagine this playing in CT or something. Love the build to the chorus.

Some great recognizable songs from 3 really recognizable games for me today, and really good competition for two of them! also Final Fantasy is there (Match 1 is probably the match i feel most strongly about in this competition so far)
