I kinda disagree as I think Lea+Corrik scum makes Lea's fakeclaim have a lot more inherent guesswork holes in it and needlessly exposes her. I suppose if you've got your master conspiracy hat on though provoking the SK into revealing its target really stacks Corrik high in terms of trust.

Of course the initial argument of what Lea had to gain by making the fakeclaim still applies.

Let's lynch Corrik first and go from there. Makes sense with either Lea alignment.

I was looking for when Hb mentioned gravy

Came across these two posts by Corrik. This *phew* post is really strange for a few reasons. First of all *phew* is a weird reaction to have there. It's also weird considering it was made like a minute after his previous post questioning it. Almost like it's scripted to make Corrik look more justified in thinking Hb is town, cause really the case for Hb being town isn't what I'd call something that has a ton of meat on it right now.

Remember Sultan mentioning he got a scan on Sbell, and then his flip showed he had no scan powers. Remember how Gravy accidentally posted after the STOP, which was said in topic one to award scum (and presumably SK) with a scan? Gravy and Bolt are town by this logic.

SK is opposed to scum as well so he gets a scan either way. Gravy was by no means confirmed

On a similar thread, Hb had a stupid defense of Ben as town yesterday and has been fairly idle. I think Corrik is the better lynch today, but Hb getting a look would be nice too.

Also Corrik's defense for Lea being town yesterday was really bad. That tends to be a red flag as scum knows who town is. I tend to trust people more who thought both Lea or Ben were plausible as scum, as they were both very scummy.

If Lea is actually idiot town, Corrik as scum bulletproof makes a lot more sense. I come back to "why am I alive instead of gravy" as I was more trusted than him and can drive town better than him. The obvious conclusion is my reads are poor. I helpfully posted a list of reads for scum to peruse. Lea was #1 scum on it. Lea is probably town that scum thought I'd coast a lynch of today for them.

Meanwhile Corrik was top town. I thought Corrik as scum bulletproof was off the table with Lea as scum, as she would have knowledge that her watcher fakeclaim would encounter holes and expose her as obviously lying. However as lying town, Corrik as scum bulletproof makes more sense. Him seeding a counterclaim for bulletproof also makes sense as he probably knew Chris was sinking and figured his claim of town bulletproof would have weight once a SK flips (which again scumteam clearly knew an SK was in the setup as they are only 4)

Don't like how Corrik is trying to aggressively path lynches. Don't like how Lea is now in his POE (which looks like a "list of people who have general suspicion from town" more than a coherent list of suspicions) either. Don't like how he's constantly playing a passive suspicion against me with an argument against me he knows I think is dumb-- he paid close attention to English Literature Mafia and saw Ulti expertly employ this technique against me

Well the thing is actual not caring comes in the form of character development, mostly. Does Naito change how he acts when he loses/wins at all? If he does, even if his overall gimmick presents the same, it's hard to say he really doesn't care.

Again I'm an extremely casual viewer so I really just know the characters as they show in matches and nothing in the actual overarching stuff beyond what I gather from you guys and voltch, so I don't actually know what the answer is there. I do get the feeling when he's wrestling matches in a vacuum he is attempting to win the match and the tranquillo stuff is more of a mindgame than anything but yeah.

Like as a wrestling fan when I think apathy in a bad way for storytelling I'm more thinking someone like Roman Reigns or John Cena who when they lose a big match are often just like "shucks I'll win next time" or a guy like Triple H who treats his opponent as beneath him more than actually putting them over as a threat-- not someone whose character is to show how cool and above it all in the ring they are necessarily.

I don't see why they shouldn't. One mislynch doesn't lose you the game-- tracker is cool and all but not a vital role. The day 2 lynch was also winning for town.

I mean if your argument is that Ben may be town that isn't playing to win then getting him off the table is not a bad thing either way.

There is nothing left to justify though, they made the plays they did and that is more than enough to justify their lynches. You are taking it a step further and it feels like you want to make sure that no one can come back to you if they were to flip town. The fact that you are now trying to flip it on me begs the question do you know that they would flip to and are trying to preemptively step up trying to push other people on the lynch you are trying so hard to justify?

Town is sloppy, yes, but town also has some degree of consistency, which is how you distinguish between poor town play and scum play. There is always a why, even if it's for a bad reason. With Ben you struggle to determine a why because he hasn't been consistent.

With Ben is that first day hammer seems like faked consistency-- he's displaying a certain attitude then turns it on its head in like 5 minutes.

Meanwhile the audacity to make a mason claim to clear someone as town seems like a play that a stupid town would make if they were following the game passionately and had a strong town read on someone-- not someone who has been half assing it as Ben has. There's just no convincing reason for him to do that unless it was a play.

You know what's better than painting a giant target on yourself in the hopes of WIFOMing people? Not doing that. Doing nothing. Letting town eat itself by not giving anyone a good reason to look at you. You know, like Scare is doing today.

Ben already had a target on his back. He doubled down with the Mason thing only after people started suspecting him. Just idling and doing nothing, again, you'd see that momentum was a thing and that he'd gain himself one more day (after you're lynched) at most by staying silent.

People are asking me to justify things, so I'm justifying things.

You've got a contingent of people who think Ben are town and a contingent that are saying Lea is town. I don't take any lynch for granted-- not in b8 towns where scumrush town fall guy lynches are so common.

Also I'm one of the main ones who had been pushing for their lynches this game. It's my job as town to 'overjustify' their lynches. You'd think someone who was so interested in contributing to the game would want to justify lynches a bit more himself.

Don't see town IGCD doing this. Town IGCD doesn't think so highly of his potential contributions that he's going to end the day pre-emptively to ensure he's allowed to have them. Town IGCD just accepts that he won't be able to read everything and lets the day play out.

Considering we're looking 2 scum laying themselves down to kill the SK, a third hammering it just to be absolutely sure doesn't seem too weird to me.
