Soft call findings like an echogenic bowel or echogenic cardiac focus may heighten a suspsicion for high risk women for certain genetic disabilities. But then you need to look at positive predictive values and the differences between screening and invasive diagnostic testing, which carries its own unique risks. The bottom line is that people who hard call kill it without appropriate counseling are fucking idiots, point blank. And none of it really matters on this board since yall will never carry a pregnancy and literally have zero autonomy over this kind of decision. --- |
