Is this random people choosing and using these photographs, or is the famous person / their agent / their company they work with intentionally putting these photos there, so they're always young and beautiful?

Hey, here's something I was thinking about recently. A lot of people are familiar with the theory that Hitler rose to power largely based on bitterness about WW1, i.e. getting beaten by the French, but also the huge reparations.

WW1 ended in 1918; Hitler rose to power in 1932. Isn't 14 years a bit much to still be bitter and messed up about losing to the French, and particularly about the reparations? I mean, the economy had actually been pretty good for quite a few years, by this point. I know the economy crashed in 1929, but that was just because of the Wall Street Crash. Can people really hold in their bitterness and resentness for 14 years, then express that by electing a leader as questionnable as Hitler?

I don't understand. What does this partial shutdown actually involve? The British press have barely covered it all (although, I assure you, we've got several of our own serious problems).

But, Bush was definitely better than Trump so far. I mean, Bush was stupid, but he cared about the US, and he did things profesionally, and could stick to an opinion for at least 24 hours. Trump is just dreadful. Probably the worst American president ever.

I liked it. Only put in about 10 hours, though. For a score attack game, it's not very focused at all, and also, the soundbites, although cool, are repetitive.

He said why does he need to know about random facts about history, when he can just hire somebody who does who knows the things he doesnt. This way he can focus his energies on his craft instead of on things that don't interest him.

I was doing good for a while, decent job, saving money, looking for an apartment, going out trying to be more social.

But I recently quit my job, have no income just living off my savings. Still stuck in the same living situation. I'm frustrated, and super depressed right now. Don't have anyone to talk to, and struggling to not post about that stuff on here. I know I'm unwelcome, it's just the only place anyone talks to me.

So yeah, negative progress. Just sinking deeper into the void.

Everyone is welcome on CE. Sort of.

But don't worry, things get better. Even when things in my life was absolutely dreadful, they did eventually get better.

These days, there are very few users under about 22 or 25.

By "the early days of CE", I mean 2002 or 2003, but even much later, by about 2008, there were still quite a few teenagers here, like stupiness_blah (Cassie), and Kassie. What happened? I know a lot of long-time users have (obviously) gotten older, but what happened to young new arrivals?
