She seems to have just thrown it all away. Although, of course, it's not an actress' fault if the TV series she is in gets cancelled. That's the fault of the people running it. But she just kinda disappeared after that. And yeah, she's not nearly so pretty now.

To be fair, Harpie isn't even as good looking as some of them. But she does have the whole questionnable lifestyle choices streak, which seems to be pretty common in certain female posters on the board.

There's some great stuff. SMO, BotW, Tropical Freeze, Captain Toad, and other things. The problem is, if you own or owned a Wii U, you will have already played SOME of the best games. I must admit, there could be a few more really good games for the console. It's only its second year, of course.

I'm still really looking forward to Pikmin 4, and to a lesser extent, Team Sonic Racing, the new Yoshi, and the new Mortal Kombat.

I'm getting Smash and Mega Drive Classics Compiltion.

I'm quite looking forward to Smash, and really looking forward to the compilation. About 50 games, some of which I've never played before.

Languages. That would really impress people. It would be French (because so many people speak it), Spanish (for the same reason), Mandarin (because it's so hard to learn), Latin (because this always makes a person look smart), and German (because living in Germany would be cool for me).

It was Melee, on a demo pod, back when those were popular in the UK.

Tomorrow, I am recieving Ultimate as a Christmas present, so I'll get a chance to play the series more. Who knows. Perhaps I'll become one of those hardcore (read: foaming at the mouth) Smash fans. Kinda ironic that I'm getting it, though. I doubt I'll be playing much, if any, multiplayer. I'm hoping singleplayer will be fun. I don't have anyone to play with, though, and I don't even have 2 Switch controllers anyway (lulz). I suppose I could do lots of online play, but I recently lost my Wifi connection because my new router doesn't work that well.

Thoughts on all of this?

I did that for about 10 years. When I was still using my old CRT TV, but playing 360 and Wii U games. I think there were lots of games that lost stuff off the edges, and I sometimes survived, and enjoyed playing the games.

The only problem was probably Eternal Sonata. That timing bar at the left side of the screen got almost completely cut off, which was stupid. They could easily have moved it further to the right.

To be honest, Lost Highway was certainly never my favourite Lynch film, but Brewster McCloud is a pretty good Altman film. Expensive, though. This drives the cost up to about 85.

I think that's a good list. About a third mainstream films, about two thirds alternate films. 5 American, 2 British, 2 French, 1 German. Some really enjoyable films, there.

It's a shame the focus is all on very high budget AAA garbage these days, in the film business. There used to be a nice mix. And the big fans weren't so high budget, or part of franchises.

This is why, with my personal collection, I often stick to indie films.

It was called The Evolution of Cinema.

It literally just went through a bunch of films, showing each one for maybe 20 seconds, along with the title and year of release, and then went onto the next. From the early silent films, to stuff like Birdman and Logan.

Most people probably wouldn't want to sit and watch the whole thing, but it's out there if you want to see it. Pretty cool.

Forrest Gump is a superb film, and my VCR doesn't really work anymore. Having said that, I've seen it maybe 20 times.

9 Songs is alright, nothing special. It is cool having unsimulated, i.e. real sex in a film, though.

Gah. I've got so few platinums, and I've been doing this for a while now. I've also not really got that many golds, at least I don't think so. Some of the fifth tier levels (like the space stuff) are nightmares to do well in. Even completing those levels can be really hard.

Hey, I'm meant to be getting 2 German history books in just a couple of days' time. One on the Nazi regime (this is like 1,000 pages long), and another on German history in general (a few hundred pages).

They called a couple of people suspected of distrupting Gatwick with drones for a long time "morons", printed their pictures, and then the police released those two same "morons" without charge.
