Personally I want sequels more than prequels. I yearn for a post-Voyager Star Trek show. Prequels are infinitely better than "throw it all out" reboots though, in my opinion.

I have mixed feelings over the grimdark sequels but they didn't take the easy route that's for sure, even if my suspension of disbelief is stretched to its limits at the notion the destruction of one system could cripple a republic of thousands of star systems.

Was every single clone trooper on Coruscant when they blew it up? Was the clone manufacturing planet also blown up?

They're just forcing "Rebels" and "Empire again and don't care if it makes sense. They even have Leia still leading the "Rebel Forces" when that doesn't make any sense since they won the war and they are the Republic Army now. They even killed off Snoke to clarify that they don't plan to explain where the First Order came from.

Do not misunderstand, I'm not saying the prequels were ultra coherent either.

The movie estimates 1 weaponized dinosaur is like 30 million, which is honestly a gross under valuing of the dinosaurs even for non weaponized versions, but even if that was the case it wouldn't make them more cost effective than soldiers.

Do parents get a free pass to leave or better treatment because they have kids, if that was the case you would actually encourage kidnappings within the people attempting to illegally cross the border.

That said, the alternatives many people are suggesting are equally unrealistic.

Ehh. It's always been established canon in Star Wars that the Force is literally everywhere, and that the ability to sense and influence it is theoretically inherent in every living thing.

If anything, perhaps the lesson of the sequels should have been that there will ALWAYS be those who can use the Force in the universe, and that without a group like the Jedi to shepherd and police those people, it's almost an inevitability that Dark Side users like the Sith would arise again (and worse, because the "new Sith" would effectively lack the self-control and limiting factors like the "Rule of Two" to keep them in check - now imagine dozens of Force-powered warlords scattered across the galaxy, raising their own private armies, and waging war on each other to establish final dominance).

Yeah, there are sometimes babies born with force powers even if their parents didn't have it, this happens in many stories that feature magic, but The Last Jedi went out of its way to explain that the force will always equally balance light and dark for the purposes to ensuring they can make movies forever, because it means no side can ever win forever or even for long because "the force" will just keep creating new light and dark users out of nothing.

That's just stupid.

The real limiting factor of the Switch's portability is the battery life, which is roughly 3 hours if you're playing a AAA title on a reasonable brightness.

They sell external batteries to extend the battery life of the Switch (you can't just use any external battery for phones because the Switch has a different voltage requirement), but that arguable limits how portable it is unless you carry a bag for everything around with you.

Which is okay for long trips because you'll have a bag anyway, but might not be okay for daily activities.
