In the premier league you have your lead penalty taker on pens. In a shootout you have to use players who aren't the main penalty taker. That probably doesn't help numbers either

Seems I can reliably solo FD80 now. Only half paying attention but it seems that I've won 100% of runs this morning or if I have failed any runs it's been whilst I haven't been paying attention. Could also be a lucky run I guess

What pushed the winning percentage up was basically beefing up defenses as I thought. A large part of that was increasing Laias's attack so that her T5 Dark perk gave more MDEF to the rest of the team. And by rest of the team I mean Yanne because her surviving and murdering the dragon is like the only important factor.

And in typing this I just saw my first loss which was ridiculous to watch. Dragon flies, Morrah and Phillop have it pointed off to the side. Yanne literally runs from opposite side of screen into the path of flying breath just as it goes off lol. I think that's the only way I can lose now.

I think the most realistic chance of the Warriors being overthrown this year is injury.

George staying because of Westbrook makes Durant look even worse. It was supposed to be Westbrook that was driving teammates away and yet George opted to stay rather than go where he announced he wanted to be last year?

Also I will laugh if the Lakers end up with no big names (sorry Lakers fans in here). Purely because I dislike teams who expect big names to come to them because of their name and past alone. It seems every year the Lakers proclaim they are getting X, Y, Z and every year they end up with nobody. Its probably partly jealousy but I hate it when teams just expect to be good due to tradition and get shortcuts via big names signing due to that.

I still expect Lebron to go there and maybe 1 other simply because they have the cap room

You can't compare a league championship to an international event.

I'd argue the level of consistency needed to win a league championship in soccer, or the Champion's League, is much higher than a championship in the NHL/NFL/NBA/MLB, where you need a solid core and have the ability to get hot at the right time.

Imagine knocking the best player in each of those sports because they failed to win at the Olympics. Those are things that you add to the resume, not base the resume off of.

Imagine the fact that sports exist and there is one crown to rule them all for said sport and you can. Never. Win. It.

You're basically looking at Pele and Maradona and the only reason they are is due to less exposure from playing in eras where it was less likely for people to see their domestic play and/or playing in lesser leagues. And the only reason it is career defining for Maradona is because he flat out cheated en route to winning.

I signed divorce papers last week but we had split amicably and are still friends. We had already been seperated for like 2 years.

I'm also actively househunting even though my lease doesn't expire until March next year. I wish house prices were like 20-30% cheaper though, irritates my soul how much prices have soared here in the last few years. I also have to get somewhere that's easily rentable too as long-term I think I'd rather be out in the countryside with land and views rather than Orlando. That's years down the line though, my job ties me to Orlando right now.

I'm sure as people get more T8 gear, more solo options become viable. Right now the compositions are based around missing huge chunks of defense from not having 5* T8 gear. Once that's a non issue more heroes should be viable.

Orbs are better percentages too purely because you need way more of them in total even to grind up. So semi passable orbs are usable because you have to find like 8+ orbs whereas with other pieces you only need 2 or so total

You're also way more likely to roll good defensive pieces than offensive as there's more defensive options.

To solo dragons you have to gear defensively. My FD80 solo rely on surviving ground breath, surviving the spiral flame thing that targets back row people and flying breath being aimed away from healer/DPS. Doing enough damage is never an issue, DPS not dying is

Block and dodge are vastly superior to flat out defense

I have a gear piece that has identical stats except 1 has +10% Defense and the other has +100 Block. If I use the defense piece on Morrah (second tank) then it plummets my win rate by a good 25-30%. And that stat is literally the only one changing

You don't compete on auto repeat. Well you do but it never goes to the bid screen. It skips it and auto allocates

I get 1 scale every 2 hours or so of soloing FD80 and that's with a shitty win rate

I've had a few good rolls but not many. Had way more defensive good rolls that offensive. But I've had some that are like crit x2 and atk x2

Kemba + Batum is 36m in contract. Vucevic is 12m. So going to need an extra make weight in there.

Biyombo is 17m
Fournier is 17m
Ross is 10m
Simmons is like 7m I think

I don't think Orlando will take on Batum without including Biyombo. Can't have 41m tied up between Biyombo and Batum next year since neither is expiring. Which makes things tricky as Hornets already have Zeller and Mozgov on long deals. May need a 3rd team involved or one of those may need to come back.

Maybe something like

Vuc + Biyombo + Fournier (46m)
Kemba + Batum + Zeller (46m)

Third option. Vucevic + Ross + Biyombo + Draft pick for Walker + Batum works too.

The opt out basically rules out a trade to teams who don't have the cap space to take him on board.

And actually looking at that bracket, here's the thing. Everyone universally agrees that top half is a lot harder than the bottom half. Which on name value / past performances it certainly is. I'm definitely happier England are in the bottom half.

However, if people think about which teams have been impressive so far in the tournament. There's a lot more 'impressive' teams in that bottom half than top half. Maybe because it always looks better when a team you don't expect to do well overperforms. But for all the big names in that top half, most of them haven't really done much.

France won the group but weren't remotely impressive in doing so. They likely have another gear but they didn't do much to win their group.

For Portugal, see Spain. They struggled against Iran/Morocco.

Uruguay won a group full of bad teams and didn't look great in doing so.

Argentina have looked awful so far and were lucky to progress.

Brazil were efficient (which is kinda what you want) without being overly impressive. They were in control but never looked overwhelming.

Belgium are probably the only team in that top half who have looked really good in qualifying for the knockout stages.

When you look at that bottom half Croatia and Sweden have looked really good in the group stage. Colombia and England have both looked dangerous.

You have to remember that England played a second string team against Colombia and on performance alone, they are one of the stronger teams in that bottom half.

Same for Sweden who have played extremely well. Obviously Croatia have played very well too.

Spain we are really giving the benefit of the doubt to based on past performances and caliber of players in their team. Off performances alone so far, they are one of the weakest group winners. They weren't exactly runaway winners against Iran and Morocco and could have very easily been eliminated. So I think saying Colombia have zero chance against Spain is pretty silly as Colombia are definitely a better team than Iran/Morocco.

Someone needs to take one for the team and get sent off!

This FFP rule is moronic beyond belief.

It's better than the alternatives and it's not like it's the first tiebreaker or anything. It's only used when other options are exhausted

Was able to check how reliable it was with the new auto repeat option and the answer is not very.

It scored me 5 wins in 50 minutes so I'd guess that is about a 40-50% win rate. That was without beefing up Morrah and Yanne defense though so there is that.

Ratings always show the opposite. I agree I prefer the giant killings are more exciting but I guess it's because large swathes of followers tune out if their team isn't in it

I for sure can do FD80 with a helper if the helper brings some form of damage mitigation. Probably the same for BD80.

Seems to be the best way of doing it is having a high DPS who can survive and everyone else is just about survival. As like 1 Yanne can tear through any Dragon HP by herself with no sort of damage buffs

Acting like 7-1 isn't already a monumental loss. It matched Brazil's biggest ever loss and was against a Brazil team who were unbeaten in 62 home games which is already a ridiculous number

It is unlikely we ever see a similar result involving such big teams in our lifetime. Maybe a 4 or 5 goal game but not 7 and not in that fashion.

This is kind of the problem with the big teams. They can look like shit, scrape through and then then turn it around in the knockout stages. It's why they are the big teams

Also why England have been so disappointing in the past as a lot of the other big teams have done that whereas England never really did.
