a mandatory buyback would also cost the US billions. australia paid 500million to get 600k guns off the streets (which funny enough are back on the streets with interest now). the US has ~175x the amount of firearms than australia did BEFORE the buy back. assuming its successful in any meaningful way youre probably talking hundreds of billions of spending maybe even trillions. and this was under the pretense that you HAD to do it or face criminal charges. optional ones are one thing (and are taken advantage of in hilarious ways), but you will never see a system like australia's in the US. that time is LONG past.

the guy is fucked as far as selling home made ammo without a license (even as stupid as it is), but theres no reason to push deaths threats on the guy. there are literally billions of rounds sold in this country per year, some of them arnt going to be used lawfully. i also question what type of AP rounds the guy sold him. military grade m993 .308 rounds are heavily restricted, but m2 AP "black tips" are not. and really when you get down to it it doesnt matter that much what ammo he used. it was one big turkey shoot in a field with hundreds of soft targets. doesnt matter if it was an m993 or a standard 55grain ball.

without specifics its hard to know whos in the right. certain types of AP rifle ammo are not illegal to own or buy (or i believe to make). the higher end stuff that the military currently uses (m993 and m995 and variants) i think is illegal, but that stuff tends to be highly regulated and difficult to find. now if you made that stuff or tried then you might run into problems. however this also depends on the state since some tend to use some really really shitty definitions of what a pistol round is and AP pistol rounds are illegal everywhere. same with tracers which depends on the state (i dont think nevada has any restrictions on those).

and 1000rounds is nothing to even a moderate shooter.

that said, its a bullet. literally billions are in the US and sold and it doesnt matter what kind of bullet it was. the damage that the vegas shooter did would be the same if it was a standard 55grain ball or a m995. it was a turkey shoot in an open field with hundreds of soft targets.

the big problem and something many gun controllers dont understand is that you are NOT going to be able to do a ban or most types of restrictions in this country. theres too many guns, the gun community and culture is too large to let you succeed in any meaningful way. it doesnt matter what your feelings are.

with that the way gun control advocates try to pass their laws make them seem like idiots. their intentions may be good, but in reality they know practically nothing about the item and yet are making blanket restrictions on it to others. this makes them seem like fools to the gun community and not worthy of any meaningful discussion so you tend to have a constant stand still.

if you want anything to change you need to go after other solutions.

personally i dont think many really understand the ramifications in trying to outright restrict guns in this country and what it will do.

the problem with gun training is that theres not much to it. fallow the 4 basic rules (which are extremely common sense). thats it and make sure they know the dangers and workings of the device. after that its up to the individual how they use it. its a gun, theres only so much you can actually teach about it.

and you really cant compare cars to guns. theres a LOT more involved with vehicles of which worse case scenario if you screw up then a hell of a more more people can die. mess up with a gun and at most 1 person is dead. of which there are double the amount of registered drivers than there are gun owners and yet there are something like 25x more vehicle accidents and deaths compared to firearms.

RE4 and 5 (barring a few moments) are set up for their control methods and are built heavily around them. Re6's design hurts its controls. the camera layout and movement, how wonky the cover system is (and very inconsistent), the weird melee and how some moves will not hit based on where you are (despite doing the move directly over the enemy), the game in general trying to interpret what you want to do ala assassins creed where if one pixel touches a corner of an object the game feels you want to vault over an object to the side instead of just run past it (immensely annoying in mercs). you can do some cool shit with it, but the whole thing is just too finicky, loose and sloppy.

the combat and level design are what really pissed me off. considerably linear and narrow minded in everything over 1 and 2. 2 weapon limit can suck my nuts, horribly underused sky lines, shallow upgrades to everything, semi-infinite resource provider elizabeth, poor level design that consists of a few side room and a hallway (baring that one end-ish level). the story comes off as interesting, but once you sit back and take it in it falls apart hard. its an interesting experience because of that, but a pretty mediocre game.

2 is still the best in the series.

3 is mechanically a better game, but it doesnt have the level or story progression that 2 does which makes the whole thing more memorable. still, having very recently played through the series 2 doesnt hold up as well as i would have liked. im also extremely surprised at how short 3 was. even knowing what to do it still took me around 4 1/2 hours. my scenario A in 2 was about that let alone the 3 other scenarios.

The RNG is stupid fuck, completely random on where you might get some key items that can really ruin some speedruns. You can get screwed out of a grenade launcher and end up with two magnums

theres a few different scenarios based on what you pick, but the rng doesnt work like that (id barely even call it rng). if something isnt here then it will be there. you cant end up with 2 magnums and things like that. in the police station for instance its random as far as if youll get the magnum or gl, but once you do then the second item is guaranteed. same with the powders. you may find A here or B or A and B, but you will never find 2 A's or 2 B's. theres still structure to the system and really theres only 2-3 variables.

if they had the will power to do it then they would have already. for many its the thought that they can and they arnt or wont that ends up putting them into a darker hole. and that hole ends up being the only thing they know or can content with. usually it ends very very badly if someone isnt there to help them on their feet.

if you can actually get over that mountain then things get substantially easier and you will start to have more confidence. unfortunately for many it is a mountain and it isnt easy for them. iv went through the same thing and eventually it led to me trying to kill my self twice before i actually got help from someone. make no mistake, life still isnt easy afterwards, but youd still have easier means of contending with it.

tc, i strongly recommend you talk to someone even your family about it so at the very least they might be able to help you talk to someone professional that can help you through what your going through. the longer you wait the worse its going to get.

Alien Isolation is good for what it is, but it outstays its welcome by the halfway mark and then you have another 5-10hours to slog through. also only went back to around 2010 for most of these.

the big thing with most pc only titles are that they are either extremely long or depend heavily on how you play and what you want to get out of them so its hard to know if theyed actually quality for what you want.

iv got a relative who has a masters in psychology and a bachelors in law who got them by the time she was 30. shes now 54 and is still paying off stupid loans as far as i know. unless you go into a serious money making field you will be in debt for probably half of your life atleast unless you get lucky with funds.

if youre in it to make money youll have an easier time going into trades or programing which are in much higher demand. courses tend to be about 1/4-1/3 the cost on average for those over most others and youll be making 40-80k on average and will probably be able to pay off your loans in several years maximum.

the big problem is that kids tend to go into college right after high school because they feel they need to or get pressured into it. this leads to many either not knowing what they want to do and end up taking pointless classes for things they dont end up liking or take useless degrees that dont pan out to anything in the real world and all theyre left with is massive debt while having to work at walmart.

at the bare minimum 17-18 years old should live on their own and see what the world is about for atleast 5 years before making a choice on what they want to do with their life unless maybe what they want to do requires a LOT of schooling like a doctor or dentist of which its best to getting to that as soon as you can.

and yeah leons was the worse. chris may be more dudebro action, but atleast its pretty competent at it and it has surprisingly the best story of the lot. leons campaign was just all over the place where as chris' feels more structured even if its tone is more inline with other generic shooters.
