Garioshi 01/27/18 8:08:57 PM #1:	I'm not actually playing DOOM 1, I'm playing The Ultimate DOOM, but I'm pretty sure it's just DOOM 1 with more content. I have no idea how long the game is, so I don't know if it's worth making a topic over, but fuck it. So far, it's pretty fun. Not a fan of the mouse moving forwards/backwards causing movement forwards/backwards, but there's not a whole lot I can do about it. I beat both games on PS3 not too long ago actually, was mad fun. But a few ones I've enjoyed are: Gameplay Mods: Metroid Dreadnought - Turns Doom into a Metroid Prime experience, complete with different beams and upgrades, with the ability to do things like rolling. GMOTA (Go Medieval on Their Asses) - If you like fantasy-themed SNES games, this is your go-to. One of my favorite mods. Similar to Shovel Knight, new characters are slowly being released. Demonsteele - If you like really flashy, edgy anime mods, this one's for you. One of the best gameplay-wise. Russian Overkill - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0ZtACHdrXQ Randomizers/Replayability Mods: OBLIGE - Basically a Doom AI that creates levels. Jimmy's Jukebox - This mod randomizes the music in Doom. There's a gigantic pool of midis thrown into the mix, and you'll never hear the same song twice. Doom Roguelike Arsenal + Doom RPG - These are two separate mods that can be combined together. If you want a Doom experience that'll last you at least 20 hours, play this. It turns Doom into a full-on RPG with a lot of depth and mechanics. My outright favorite mod. Maps: Doom the way Id Did: Simply more Doom. Every map takes inspiration from a level in Doom 1/2. This is just a small taste.
