I've actually been thinking about doing a whole trilogy playthrough because I've hated on Dragon Age 2 since I played it (which is like 6 years ago) and am interested to see if my opinion would change at this point. It'd always bad for rogues. Not good for tanks, but it can be good for 2h ravers situational, not as good as the sigil of the revenant for them though. For mages it's excellent, sort of. Sometimes it doesn't always benefit you. Most of the time I had no idea what I was doing or why, and just following quest markers. I did end up beating it and I did enjoy it.
