At some point it seems to me like it's just the people in power wanting to keep it. No matter how horrible life under Russia would be, and believe me I'm sure it would be, I think it still beats death. It wouldn't be the end of Ukraine forever. The USSR fell once already. Russia's grip will slip. Putin will die one day. Russia can be pressured in other ways in the meantime. You can't win them all. Just look at the rest of the world for proof...

Like I said, I'm not saying fighting is wrong. But Putin seems willing to keep on no matter the cost not just to Ukraine but to Russia themselves and the rest of the world as well. How much more?

the lack of save carryover from Remake to Rebirth was not that huge of a deal, was a bit annoying to be given 1-2 slot gear and a handful of Materia at the start of Rebirth but it is not like you were really that far into the original game at the start of Rebirth. It will be way more of an annoyance if they do the same for part 3 and have small amounts of unleveled Materia and gear that can only fit a few pieces. Will hold judgement until the release of part 3 thou.

Exactly, in other words, they scale story progress with level progress. No matter how many expansions they make, your character continues to progress in an ordinal manner with the story. Shocking how they can make that work.

Imagine if every WoW expansion deleted your characters for "balance".

I think you've put almost no thought into why this is a big deal for some people. I get you liked the new games. That's great for you. People can still complain about a very reasonable expectation, which is when a single RPG gets remade, being able to play it like an RPG, rather than a series of action games with a cohesive story.

You'd be surprised. I work for the state of California and we send and receive faxes every day. If we need to request anything from fire departments, police departments, hospitals, etc., we send the request via fax. Hell one of the fire safety offices will outright refuse requests sent via email and tell us to fax them.

It was pushed into F2P because it became a dead game that made no money. That's why. Everyone wants lootboxes back because no one had to pay for anything. I know I didn't. I had every skin in the game with plenty of currency. Every event I got every skin in the event by just playing the game. So people are mad that a game that made no money and got no updates now became free and makes you pay for cosmetics? I don't get it. You can even get the battle pass for free every other season if you do the weekly challenges. What I do understand is that $19 for skins is ridiculous. It's too high. Also heroes in the Battle Pass are ass and it seems like they are about to change it based on what they said. Outside of that? I don't understand how people want the game to be like it use to. It couldn't survive like that.

That's an issue that exists across all RPGs. You could overlevel and make the rest of the game a cakewalk, or underlevel /underprepare and find yourself stuck at a particularly hard boss.

The real reason they didn't want saves to carry over, I expect, is that they didn't want the sales of each game to be constrained to those who have beaten each previous installment. Not any backwards compatability bullshit that could probably be fixed with a python script and 30 minutes of forethought.

That said, the courts aren't interested in the political shenanigans that may or may not be going on with Chubb's involvement as surety for Trump's stay of execution. It is simply a matter of whether or not the surety is reliable. If Trump doesn't pay, Chubb certainly will. 1. I don't see the NY appellate court granting a stay without the undertaking. I would imagine the NY judicial system is familiar enough with real estate people to not buy into stupid bullshit.

2. Yeah, Cannon is blatant at this point. I tend to give judges a higher-than-normal amount of respect and deference, but she's beyond that at this juncture. No rational person would look at these circumstances and think she's being impartial.

These types of ads won't help him because we can't deny what we see and hear from him regularly. Sure he can get up for important one offs.
