All In The Family, because Archie is a conservative who's always shown to be in the wrong on social issues.Any time you look at clips of Archie Bunker on Youtube, there's an overwhelming amount of people who support what he says. Hal denies it, but then after talking to a black man, realizes he doesn't help them as much as white people (or aliens) and tends to immediately view them as criminals, prompting him to deal with white guilt. This was in 1970. --- ...I think I'm done here... |

That can be true too.I'm not going to get into whether or not XVI's serious and European medieval setting is better or worse than Rebirth's because the type of storytelling for an FF is completely subjective. I think both are fine. But I will say the "anime" dialogue and humor of Rebirth comes off as way more awkward and stilted. I don't remember it being this bad in Remake. --- ...I think I'm done here... |

Is it worth going through Crisis Core before doing Remake/Rebirth? Just went through the original FF7 and was planning on skipping CC, but since Zack showed up a few times in trailers for Rebirth I was wondering if it would be a mistake to do so.I didn't play Crisis Core until last year, and I think playing it helps. I own a PSVR and making this not BC + the price made it a wait and see how they support it for meYeah, I have a PSVR2, and it's awesome. The problem is the fact that it's way too expensive. VR is basically the progression of stuff like the Wii and Kinect, which has an inherently casual playerbase. So when a casual gaming device costs more than the actual system, that's not going to be an easy sell for most owners. --- ...I think I'm done here... |

| Hayame_Zero 03/03/24 9:47:57 AM #15 | We went to church for the first 7 or 8 years of my life, and just sort of stopped. My mom grew up in a family of Baptist preachers, but my mom and dad were never as strict about it as them.
But then my aunt went through a goth phase, and my mom freaked out and went weirdly fundamentalist. She started calling everything evil out of the blue, and wouldn't let me watch anything with dragons or demons. This lasted only a year, and she went back to relatively normal. In hindsight, I think she started losing her faith in religion while falling out with the older members of her hateful family, and that was sort of her reaction to it. Now she can't stand organized religion, and leans harder left than she did when I was a kid. --- ...I think I'm done here... |
