No, thankfully I don't need anything. In general I avoid taking medication if I can. Like if I'm feeling pain, I don't take painkillers. If I have an upset stomach, I don't take anything for that. I don't take vitamins or supplements either.

I was prescribed medicine after I quit drinking but I stopped taking it because the side effects were too much for me. There would be times where I would almost fall asleep while driving.

Yes.

Hydroxyurea twice a day. Extended release morphine sulfate pills also twice a day.

From there its just things like folic acid, vitamin D, and a multi-vitamin that I sometimes do sometimes don't take.

Immediate release oxycodone for breakthrough pain. This one is mostly used at night laying down and especially so during the colder months. *Also can't take this if I have to drive anywhere since it can make me tired.*

All of this is for chronic pain related issues.

Yes. Not to overshare about my chronic pain problems, but multiple cancers and repeated surgeries to the same area has left me with severe nerve damage and I feel worse now than when I actually was sick, so odds are I am going to have at least one painkiller every day.

Antipsychotics suck, but they keep me sane. Need a multivitamin and a fish oil, too. Lately I've found myself taking B12 and I'm starting to think I've been lacking it a bit lol.

News to me. I thought that with my high protein diet and multivitamins that I would be fine.

Depakote is another mood stabilizer, but I need my liver to get tested every year. It's a bit of a drag. I find it's the most helpful mood stabilizer I've ever taken, though, so I consider it worth it.

Buspar is a non-narcotic anti-anxiety. I love it, really helped me not be so anxious all the time. It was almost a silver bullet.

Just remember: everyone's brain chemistry is different. What works for me may not work for you. Still worth a shot if you feel that you need more help (doubly so if you have a mood disorder).

Antipsychotic mood stabilizer
seen like quite a few guys on this site say stuff like for mood stabilizer and also anti depressants. Those who are prescribed that on this site may be much higher than the national avg.
