I thought Final Fantasy VII's story was above and beyond what you would expect from a video game at the time.

I thought it was incredible when it released. Then in my jaded late teens/early 20, I thought it was "overrated" after playing other RPGs. Then I came back around after replaying it and realized it really was amazing, and even way better than I gave it credit for when it came out.

Hole were originally going to be in Smashing Pumpkins' role, with Homer speaking to Courtney Love instead of Billy Corgan. They had to be changed because Sonic Youth and Kim Gordon couldn't stand Love and refused to be around her for the episode.

The line was originally "Hi Homer, big fan! Courtney Love!", and he responds with "Thanks, Homer grateful!"

It's kinda wild to me that someone like Matthew Mercer still takes roles as minor background characters to begin with.

There were a ton of large names, many who did minor characters in this. Cristina Vee voiced random nameless villagers in this as well.

I don't think MPDGs have largely contributed to male loneliness, but it certainly could be attributed to unrealistic expectations with dating and partners.

Yeah, it was skits done in a continuous take, with dancing intervals like In Living Color. It also came before All That.

I thought of the funniest episodes like Marge vs the Monorail, Homer at the Bat and Homer Goes to College but I think those might be more effective if you know the show isn't always that surreal and over the top.

So I think something like Lisa the Vegetarian might be better. Something that has both the laughs and the heart.

Yeah, that's why I went with Last Exit to Springfield. I like the ones you listed more, but it's just all around a great showing for what the show is, without getting too bizarre.

They've already made actual Zelda games though.

Part of me does, but the other part overshadows it because I remember how boring hookups were.

And this was my only real relationship, and genuinely don't think it could be better. I'll read some threads about toxic relationships, and even the ones with trivial issues doesn't sound relatable.

I haven't seen too many traditional Godzilla movies, however in Minus One when he goes to the city where the female lead is working there's a scene with Godzilla walking down the street (in Shibuya, I believe) and he steps on so many people simultaneously that you not only heard the crunching of their bones/bodies, you also see a cloud of blood shoot up around his foot.

The American-based Godzilla movies tend to ignore that, however I don't know if that's standard for Japanese-made ones.

The Japanese ones are like that as well. There's only a handful of Japanese movies that present Godzilla as a horrifying force of destruction like that, but there's like 20 or 30-something that have him as a fighter of "evil" monsters or a defender of humans.

Nick Arcade was my favorite because video games, but Legends of the Hidden Temple was unquestionably better.

And yeah, Weinerville wasn't a game show. It was a Captain Kangaroo/Mister Rogers-esque variety puppet show.
