Not even. A few different articles online are saying that the judge/his family (and the DA) aren't covered by the gag order, so Trump has free reign to go after them.

SHAKOPEE, Minn. A judge evicted Minnesota-based MyPillow from a facility in Shakopee after the landlord filed a lawsuit claiming that the company, owned by Mike Lindell, was at least $200,000 behind on rent payments.

In the lawsuit, First Industrial, LP claimed the pillow company had defaulted on four months of rent in the last year, and had also not paid rent in February or March of 2024. In all, the Delaware-based real estate firm said it was owed $217,489.74.

Neither Lindell nor any representative from MyPillow appeared at the eviction hearing.

That was part of it. My mom was already in tons of debt and she was paying for most of it. I didn't want to put her in more debt.

I was also dealing with health issues because I got viral meningitis the summer before 9th grade. It caused me to have infected fluid in my brain and spine, which gave me some brain tumors and I started having seizures randomly. They put me on dilantin to control the seizures. It wasn't until years after I stopped taking dilantin that I found out that it causes short term memory loss.

It was bad. I was an A and B student in school and I graduated from middle school in the top 15% of my class. School was easy for me back then. After I started taking dilantin, I would forget stuff a LOT. The teacher would teach us stuff and I'd understand the stuff perfectly. Sometimes, by the time the teacher handed out worksheets so we could practice what we learned, I would have already forgotten it all.

When I was in college, my mom gave me an ATM card so that I could withdraw money if I needed to buy something. There was a time where I put the card in the ATM, pulled money out, then walked away without the card. By the time I realized I forgot the card, the machine ate it. My mom overnighted me another card. I did the exact same thing the next day. There was also a time where I got on the bus to go home with my backpack full of books. I got off the bus without my backpack and started walking home. I was about half way to my apartment when I realized I didn't have my backpack any more. I went back to school and waited hours for all the buses to come around. My backpack was gone and no one had turned it in to lost and found.

I did relatively OK in school that year, but not as well as I would have hoped. I was wanting to major in computer science, but I was frustrated that none of my classes had anything to do with computers. I was taking a bunch of classes that I didn't care about and didn't want to do more "pre-requisite" classes the next year.

So I just dropped out.

So hearing Mark Joseph Stern explain this situation, the 175m bond does not free Trump from the 400m judgment. That bond only prevents the city from seizing his properties. He still has to pay the full amount at some point, though I guess we won't know that until he either pays the bond or the 10 days are up.

Yeah, if he loses the appeal, he'll have to pay the full amount. I wouldn't be surprised to see him try to appeal this all the way up to SCOTUS, though.

Jeffrey Clark's DC bar disciplinary hearing live stream... I don't expect anything too exciting to go on here, though. From what I've read, Jeffrey Clark isn't planning to testify on his own behalf and will plead the 5th to any questions asked of him.

Current state of things:

• Jeffrey Clark's DC bar disciplinary hearing is going on now
• A New York appeals court reduced the bond Trump has to pay to stay the execution of the judgement in the civil fraud case. Trump has until April 5th to pay $175 million. If he loses the appeal, he will still have to pay the full ~$455 million. As of yet, Trump has not paid the $175 million.
• Judge Juan Merchan is the judge in the Manhattan criminal trial for the hush money/falsification of business records case. A trial date has been set for April 15th. It was supposed to start on March 25th, but Trump's lawyers requested tons of documents from the SDNY very late in the game and used that huge document dump as reasoning for delaying the trial. Less than ~300 documents were actually new. The judge ripped them a new one in the hearing yesterday about this and a few other things.
• The judge in the Georgia RICO case has refused to stay the pre-trial proceedings while the defendants appeal his ruling where he said Fani Willis can stay on the case if Nathan Wade steps down. Fani Willis has again requested an August trial date, but no word on whether that will be granted or not or when a trial date will be set.
• Pre-trial motions are continuing in the classified documents case, but no word on a trial date there, either.
• April 25th is when Trump's presidential immunity arguments will happen at SCOTUS.

They probably need to investigate him, too. You don't see tons of real estate developers complaining about this. At the very least, they aren't going on TV and saying they all commit fraud. Seems like it's just him.

Yes. The only thing I did wrong was not using my turn signal to park at the end of the test, but I still passed.

While the constant delays are frustrating, I don't think we should abandon hope just yet. This is a normal part of the appellate process. The appellate court didn't say Trump is no longer on the hook for ~$460 million. They just said he only has to pay $175 million to appeal the judgement. If he loses the appeal, then he still has to pay the ~$460 million. Interest is also still accruing.

It also seems like the judge in the Manhattan criminal trial is done with Trump's delay tactics, so April 15th will likely be the start of the criminal trial.

Then on April 25th, we've got the arguments for Trump's absurd immunity appeal. I think it'll take a while for SCOTUS to rule on it, but I doubt they're going to say he has immunity to commit crimes.

Total judgment stands if the appellate court affirms. Bond amount doesn't change that, nor does it preclude post-judgment interest from accruing or for Trump potentially being on the hook for the costs of the appeal.

As much as I wanted to see Trump get grabbed by the properties this week, I'm OK with that.

Looks like the break in the Manhattan hearing is over. I'm not sure how long this hearing is supposed to be, though.

The order doesn't go into any detail as to why. It's just two pages long. The first page is basically saying that they reviewed the appeal and the relevant filings and the second page is the order.
