I've never experienced or heard of having pain peeing out a kidney stone. Kidney stones hurt because they get stuck in the ureter, the passage between the kidney and bladder, and block the flow of fluids.

Oh yeah, I forgot, but apparently as a toddler I ate a l of glass. I'm not sure if it was painful, but apparently I chewed it up so well that I didn't need my stomach pumped and just passed it naturally.

The first like, 15 minutes of this retsupurae were really kind of boring, and then suddenly it became amazing. I actually choked on some food because I was laughing too hard at part 2. I didn't think this would be better than KQ6 but boy was I wrong.

I really like this guy's way of doing longplays, playing the game normally and efficiently but interspersing all the funny, stupid deaths in at the appropriate time. It's like the exact opposite of the Darkseed II guy, who meanders about the game like a stupid moron but somehow miraculously never gets Mike Dawson killed.

Kidney stones. Maybe not the most severe pain in terms of the absolute highest peak, but having a really bad kidney stone is like... being stabbed in the gut with a knife, and then just leaving it there for a couple of weeks.

Mega Man 3 isn't even an honorable mention, what the hell?

F***, "deceptive cadence" is one of those puns that's so good I wish I thought of it first. Oh well. (I don't think this is an intentional joke on the composer's part by the way, deceptive cadences are common in music and he didn't even use them during the villain's theme.)

I didn't really like this episode much, the episodes that are all disney movie plot and song numbers with flavor-of-the-week villains don't really do it for me (except Discord who is great), it just isn't what I like about FiM. I think this episode would've been funnier if the plot was "Twilight ruins the wedding after becoming paranoid about a completely imagined evil plot against her brother", but that would've been a completely different episode. Villain was lame and didn't really introduce any real tension to the plot despite their desperate attempts to introduce real tension to the plot, but at least she did have a cool design.

Not a really bad episode, just not my thing. Like I said, I think if you take the villain out but leave Twilight's neuroticism in I would've been more entertained.

I like Alchemy, but only online where everything is automated. Alchemy is clunky to play in real life, especially Golem. Sometimes even online the cards do get a little ridiculous, though.

Edit: Except Possession. Possession is a f***ing godawful card that should never be played. Everything else in Alchemy is fine.

Worst episode ever? Jeez, overreaction much?

I thought it was okay, though I felt the idea of doing a live-action South Park was somewhat wasted on this episode. It's something they can only do once, and I don't feel like it was as funny as possible here. Oh well.

Puzzle Strike is fun, but I burned out on it a long time ago. Cool that there's an online version of it now, though.

Everything about it is near perfect - the only thing I would've liked would have been for it to be a bit harder. The best thing about Paper Mario is the level of depth the world has - it's one of those small handful of games that I learn something new about every time I play it, whether it be some cool easter egg or merely an amusing dialog box I hadn't triggered before. Also, the aesthetics of the game are just awesome, and it's fun to play. It's pretty much what I want out of an RPG.

I know this is beating the s*** out of a dead horse, but the fact that Cliff Lee and Matt Cain both got no-decisions for their amazing games (especially Lee and his 10 innings of work) is proof that win-loss records are a useless metric for determining the quality of a pitcher.

Boston lost a game 18-3. They have problems beyond just their manager.

Depends on the RPG. In some RPGs, playing on normal is a cakewalk and playing on hard turns the game into an actual fight for survival, which makes the game a lot more interesting. Tales of the Abyss is a good example of this.

The crazy thing about this to me is like, not only can you beat Ocarina of Time in 23 minutes, but it's not even like a TAS thing. It's not even that hard. It's completely within human ability to do it.

The original Metroid gets way too much hate. It's a cool little game that I think everyone should play keeping in mind that it was made in 1986. The starting-with-30-health thing sucks, but otherwise I think the game is neat. It really doesn't deserve to be s*** on like it is. It's kind of a relic, sure, but it's cool.

Yeah, in my opinion, starting with Super and Prime (in either order) is the way to go. Those are both 10/10 games. It's a great series but everything else can be hit-or-miss, Super and Prime are masterpieces.

Assuming this is "I've never played a Metroid game before, what should I play" question, Super Metroid and Metroid Prime are really the stars of the series, play those.

Okay, I'm handling the game all right now. I switched to normal for Arietta, and then decided to kill the Sword Dancer while I was at it (not easy even on normal, but completely doable) and that gave me an extra four levels to work with. After that, hard was exactly as challenging as I wanted it to be again, with tough random encounters and bosses that generally took me about 2-3 tries. Abaddon was a pain but I tweaked Tear's healing strategy a bit and got it to work out. Sync/Largo was pretty bad since Sync could do his mystic arte, but I took out Largo first and used a few life bottles and it was okay. Legretta was my next major hard roadblock - I got her down to about 2000 HP with just me (Guy) left alive and I screwed up at the end and died. But that was on a really good, lucky run where I had to use all my items, so I just switched to normal and called it a successful fight. The AI is too goddamn stupid to dodge her easily dodgeable magic.

1 > 2 > 4 > 3

1's so far and away the best they're not even worth ranking on the same scale.

2's underrated. I don't really know why everyone hates it so much.

4 was okay I guess but it didn't really feel like a Die Hard movie to me.

I actually haven't seen 3, but my friend keeps telling me to not bother with it.

It's all about the spacing. The reason line breaks make it sad is because that's not considered a space (which makes no sense).

The difference though is that Luke grows up. A lot. You just have to stick with the game long enough to see that.

Actually, knowing what I know now, replaying the game again, Luke doesn't bother me nearly as much as he used to. He's a jerk, but he has legitimate reasons for being the way he is and he isn't really all that unreasonable.
