Yeah, I mean, wars suck, don't get me wrong, but once all is said and done, a lot of good things can come from war. Western Europe is pretty stable right now, and I don't know if it would be had it not worked things out through two world wars. Would I want to change the course of history so that neither world war ever happened? I think the consequences of that today are more likely to be bad than good.

This is going to sound like a really awful thing to say, but would we really be better off if MLK Jr had not died? The impact of his actions is already felt enormously, could he really have done more had he not been made a martyr? That's certainly not something I'm willing to die for, in any case.

Man, I really like Kyle O'Quinn. He was awesome on the court and his post-game interview made me smile, he seems likeable. This team is going to be really easy to root for going forward, but I'm not sure they're going to be able to play another perfect game against Florida, like Naye said.

Speaking of 15 > 2 upsets, what is it about the MEAC? Last time it happened, it was Hampton over Iowa State in 2001.

I guess it makes sense though, since the MEAC usually winds up sending a 15 seed to the tournament.

Fun fact: Earlier this season, Norfolk State lost at home, by 12, to Elizabeth City State, a DII school with a losing conference record that I've never f***ing heard of.

Missouri didn't even play that bad. They weren't clutch at the end, but they shot the ball well overall. Norfolk State just elevated their play to a level I never would've guessed they could play at.

Awesome upset. I have Missouri losing to Murray State in the sweet 16 anyway, so as an extra bonus my bracket isn't destroyed. I wouldn't care though. I love huge upsets.

Wouldn't stop any assassination even if I didn't die. Who knows what the consequences would be. Any assassination of an important political figure causes a huge ripple effect of both positive and negative consequences, even if the person assassinated is someone we revere as a hero. Hell, some people are revered as heroes because they were assassinated.

It's fun watching all these plucky underdogs play really close games with the big boys, but it's starting to get really boring with how many of them can't actually pull it off in the end. I'm dying for a really big upset to happen at some point, the only surprising result of the tournament so far IMO was Colorado over UNLV.

There's nothing wrong with tablets, they just aren't suitable substitutes for real computers.

Anyway, ugh, lost an elite 8 team in UNLV, but I'm kind of glad Colorado won. Nothing can save the Pac-12 from being an embarrassment at this point, but at least Colorado is trying to save some face. They've done what they can.

Dude I'm just talking about the sweet 16 anyway. I don't care how good you think UK is, they can't knock Indiana out of the first two rounds when they don't play them! Fact is that nobody is talking about Indiana to even get to Kentucky because everyone's all over Wichita State's nuts, and that didn't seem right.

For the record I have UK winning the whole thing in my bracket. It's chalk, but it just feels right this year.

I actually wound up taking VCU over Wichita State after having Wichita State in the sweet 16, because they were getting to be too sexy a pick. Sexy upset picks never happen when everyone thinks they're going to happen. Nobody seemed to be riding VCU, even after what they did last year, and everyone's just flat out ignoring Indiana. It just didn't feel right. I have VCU over Wichita State and then Indiana over VCU.

3-4 minutes is a wild exaggeration of how long they take anyway (except the stupid crab boss).

The only boss in OoE that I really do hate is the giant crab thing that chases you up the tower. I have no idea what they were thinking on that one. Every other boss in OoE is completely fine, in my opinion.

I think SotN is maybe a little overrated! I mean, it's still great, but I played it after most of the GBA/DS Castlevanias and it does nothing to really wow me.

Cartoons have really mostly improved over time to be honest, I think we just all have our nostalgia goggles strapped on a little too tight. Probably my three favorite cartoons ever are Adventure Time, MLP:FiM, and Flapjack, all of which are ongoing or very recent.

Anyway yeah, seasons 1 and 2 of Adventure Time are basically some of the best things I've ever watched. I f***ing love this show.

As for Order of Ecclesia, I have no idea why people hate it. It has the smoothest and most gratifying action of any Castlevania, it has the decency to kick your ass once in a while unlike the last few Castlevanias, fun weapon system, great music, last section of the game is really awesome. I have no complaints about it.

Circle of the Moon is great. It's the perfect marriage between old and new school Castlevania, and it offers just the right amount of challenge.

Hot seat is fun with the right group of people. You can play any game, not just multiplayer games, which is a plus, you don't have to be playing all the time and you can sit back and watch other people play, it's just generally a more chill way to game than multiplayer. LAN play is great, but there's a time and place for everything.

Cool. This is probably the only good way that the old characters can return.
