Portal cause it felt more open. Never played multiplayer Portal 2 though-- also didn't have the patience to get through it all so take that as you will <_<

Maya, actually. I totally see why you have her on the list and pretty much completely agree with the write-up... aside from thinking Ema was a bad partner-- she was the second best (though I see what you mean that she's better as a character than a sidekick-- still, even then, though) but I haven't played Edgeworth yet.

Bonus Question: What is your favorite chapter in MGS4 and why?
Chapter 2. First two chapters have good gameplay focus but chapter 2 the story is picking up more and has the Laughing Octopus boss fight.

The TTYD question I couldn't tell you an answer. I have played it but I don't remember a damn thing from it.

I almost put KH's on there but I don't remember it well enough to be sure and didn't feel like youtubing it. My initial instinct would be to put KH OWA below AC OWA but above the rest though so it would be just as just plain wrong in theory. Not positive that's right, but it definitely goes above FF7 OWA, anyway.

I don't really think Lich Bane is similar at all. I mean yeah if you compare the statlines they look that way but the AP/MR/Mana are the 3 lowest priorities on the item. All about that passive and the movespeed is probably the #2 for most characters that use it. The AP is good just because it's AP but the mana and mr might as well not be there most of the time because if those are your priorities there are much better sources for it.

I haven't played the beta but based on what I've seen of the skill lists/designs/concepts/gameplay videos...

Monk > Demon Hunter > Wizard > Witch Doctor > Barbarian

Which is weird cause Barbarian is probably my second favorite in d2. Not really set in stone, though-- once my opinion gets a bit more informed I may change. Doubt it's not one of the top 2 though.

This is actually one of the best top 16s in a while, though. I only dislike Bartz and to a lesser extent Zidane. All the other characters are pretty cool with me. All that SEETHING FF6 HATRED did a good job this time around getting rid of junk like Terra and meh like Celes.

I never run into mana issues with most casters I use. Not enough that that item is core, anyway. Like I could see getting it on Anivia, Karthus, and Swain certainly with their sustained abilities. Maybe Sona, Janna, Heimerdinger cause they can spam all their abilities a lot in poking teamfight situations. But I probably wouldn't use it on Lux (mana rarely seems an issue with her cooldowns), Leblanc (low mana costs/can't poke), Evelynn (low mana costs), Fiddlesticks (can't really spam his abilities), Orianna (low mana costs despite great poking), Xerath (see ori)-- could go on.

Yeah basically what I'm saying is a lot of ap champs have high enough cooldowns or low enough mana costs that mana is not a big deal. In laning it's a big deal because you're basically in a prolonged pokefest at all times even if you're not a champ with great pokes (which is why you give mid blue so often) but by the time you finish that thing lane is almost done. Has significantly less use in team fights. Keep in mind that Rod of Ages will functionally solve any mana problems most champs have for about the same price and give 800 hp which is generally going to be more useful than 40 mr for survivability.

It's a good item and very viable but it's not going to be another rabadon's deathcap or anything.

Maybe my perception is skewed given my love for mp regen/level runes though.

Oh I didn't notice the 20 extra ap it gets.

I'm still not sure if it's not a nerf though 30% base->25% base is rather significant.

Against a 1000 hp target you're losing 50 damage on the active.
Against a 2000 hp target you're losing 100 damage on the active.

But your other pieces do gain 20*APRatio so I guess it's a slight buff midgame. Endgame though you definitely lose a bit of burst. Granted your skills are better for the extended pokefests or whatever so it still might be a net buff I guess.

If you think Diablo 2 HC naked is easy could you give me some examples of games/challenges you consider difficult? Have you even tried this or are you just extrapolating based on the difficulty of playing the game normally? I mean, I consider D2 a pretty easy game if you play it normally but if you're not using great gear the difficulty goes way up.

I consider myself someone who enjoys difficult games generally (DMC, Ninja Gaiden, Touhou games) and I would put D2 HC naked pretty high on the totem pole as far as challenges go. Even the necromancer naked I wouldn't put as trivial simply because it lacks any sort of flat defensive skill vs elemental attacks (you have curses but those won't help they snipe you from offscreen) and gets 2 hp per vit meaning you will be very scared by gloams and other things with piercing attacks.

A top TNA official ripped into Sting for about five minutes due to the way they didn’t sell the Olympic Slam from Kurt Angle and Hulk Hogan. Sting was told that they are a piece of olympic gold medals who doesn’t respect the business and will never amount to anything in TNA

Sure I wanna do a plot summary of the stuff going on with TNA too in case anyone has forgotten things:

Main storyline:
==== recap
- Sting took the company from Dixie Carter by using some contract hax back in his match with Hogan at Bound For Glory 2011 (in October)
- He abused his power and stripped Angle of the title and fired him when Angle got himself DQed to retain
- He held a 32 man tournament to determine a real legitimate champion to rep TNA, which AJ Styles won.
- Samoa Joe also got fired for attacking people after matches. Taz got replaced on the announce team. Joe and Kurt Angle repeatedly sit in audience and cause general hell despite not working there. Taz acts as the inside man to help them.
- They begin to antagonize AJ Styles. Attacking him after matches and whatnot. AJ meanwhile, as a fighting champion, insists on defending his title every week-- sometimes twice-- despite the beatdowns. He's almost working injured at this point.
- AJ begs Sting for a match with Kurt, despite Kurt being not technically employed. He gets it.
- AJ loses to Kurt. Kurt walks out with the title to spite Sting, due not being employed, saying he'll defend it against everyone in the world. WWE, NJPW, RoH, maybe even "the freakin olympics"

- Sting considers stripping the title, but is informed by Jeff Jarrett that it wouldn't be a legally binding strip due to Kurt being off TNA-- he should try to negotiate with Kurt to preserve title prestige.

- Kurt comes back in a couple of weeks and says he'll defend his title on Impact, but only on his terms. He defends against his hand picked challenger, Kota Ibushi of NJPW, and retains.

Active side storylines:
- Daniels quit. Ultra Mantis Black came with the goal to destroy AJ Styles, but was mistaken for Daniels making a cheap comeback. He intends to unmask Suicide to prove Daniels is Suicide (and by extension, not him)

- Winter the Knockouts Champion has unified the Knockouts singles and tag titles and started a Knockouts Title worshiping cult or something. Angelina Love has a copy of the title

- Jeff Jarrett and VC "Cliff" Compton are Sting's financial aides and blame AJ Styles for the loss of the TNA World Championship and have generally been antagonizing him.

- MCMG and Beer Money (heel) have been trying to re-legitimize the tag division with a series of matches. The Iceholes (Glacier and Mr. Anderson) recently have attacked the two in an attempt to insert themselves in the scene.

- Eric Young discarded the TV title in a hissy ffit due to no one giving the belt any credibility. Robbie E found it on the ground and convinced Sting to let him be the champ.

- Jeff Hardy was thought dead, came back and said he was Jesus. Hates RVD because he said the Jesus thing was stupid or something.

- Austin Aries is accepting challenges vs all comers, boasting that his title is the most prestigious on the show with the World Title MIA.

- Pope D'Angelo Dinero was dosed by Sting with the drug from Crank. This need for adrenaline improved his performance for a while, but he hasn't been seen for a few weeks and it's possible the drug got to him...

It's not hard at all to figure out that more spells are better. Particularly if you don't have every spell maxed at 100 and are getting vastly different returns between spells of similar power levels.

Abusing limit breaks is really easy to pick up on once you get one or two.

The junction system doesn't take a wizard to figure out either as it sorta breaks itself as long if you're the type to try and keep 100 spells in stock.

I certainly didn't need a guide to break either of these. The level thing yeah I didn't notice.
