Technically Bridge was finished with her when Terry moved in I think, but it hardly matters. Like I said, footballers being dickweeds is entirely expected and, as a result, a non-issue. Italian footballers just as bad tbqh.

I don't dislike most of the English players, but the FA is a joke. The way they let Capello go is disgraceful.


Capello openly and publically undermined his bosses on Italian television. I wanted him to stay because he's a good manager, but it makes perfect sense from an employer's perspective. And it's not like he had much leeway to work with after the multiple mistakes he made in 2010 (the players were more at fault but he made a lot of tactical errors).

I think it's very possible that football is corrupt elsewhere, but I don't have anything as concrete as what has happened in Italy. There it is fact. Everywhere else, like I said, is wild speculation. I THINK it is. I don't KNOW it is. And you don't know it is either - whereas you do know that Italy is wildly corrupt.

Every footballing culture has people from different countries, but the clubs as entities are Italian/English/whatever. The league is the Italian league. It's Italian football.

Nah, they're not all cheats. But this is English football vs. Italian football. It's not as simple as 11 vs. 11. These are our 11 best footballers vs. yours. They represent the entire country as a footballing nation. What Italy are representing is corruption.

I blame it on the mafia (jokingly) because how else would these stories become public yet almost every other nation can hide the BS with referees and fixing for revenue and crap? Either way it's not on the world stage, so keep it out of this and get over your dumb hate for Italy. Your team underachieves too much, there's a good chance today Italy stymies them with typical "boring" defense (part of the game, u mad) and then counters to win on maybe 1 or 2 good offensive possessions.

It won't change the fact that Italian is football is rife with match-fixing and corruption.

Could football be corrupt completely across the board, in the Premiership? Sure, possibly. I'm not rejecting the idea at all, but we haven't been found guilty of it (yet). Until that happens, we're not, factually, guilty of these things. What you have is nothing more than unproven speculation, I have fact.

tl;dr: Not denying the possibility of corruption here, but it's nothing more than a possibility. Unlike Italy, who have been found guilty of it and punished for it.

His stunner sell is one of the reasons I love The Rock more than any other wrestler (apart from Jericho and, now, Punk).


Speaking of Jericho my love for him probably started when he won that ladder match with Benoit at the Rumble in 01. Then he was just the goddamn boss for the rest of the year to the point that I almost rooted for him in his feud with The Rock, and loved him as undisputed champion (even when I was in a phase where I, on the whole, didn't like heels - HHH and Jericho were basically the only exceptions).

Even me, a huge mark who legit thought it was real then (I may have been in denial at that stage though), and thought HHH had actually hired Rikishi to run over Austin...I was rooting for Triple H in this match. >_>

I don't know why. I just thought he was cool as f*** and I wasn't enamoured with Austin at all, especially since The Rock just...was better.

And then Triple H won. I thought he had no chance. It was amazing. This is, probably, my favourite match.
