Quick Random poll: What's the farthest behind you've ever fallen on wrestling that you still decided to catch up on instead of just skipping to the present?

Last year I think I got like 4 weeks behind after Wrestlemania, to the point where I didn't even catch Extreme Rules until the Thursday after it aired.

I had to live with the offhand knowledge for weeks that SOMETHING bad happened to Edge but I didn't know what. I was actually worried he might be dead. <___<
Wait you DON'T live and breathe wrestling all the time? ...My world is shattered.

Also I suppose I just "skipped back to the present" last year when The Rock came back, but over the last year random bits of research have formed a general picture of things that have happened. Like, I now know when Cena won all 9 of the titles he won before 2011, weird stuff like that.

Just thinking this was probably the most satisfying group stage for England since at least 96. Maybe 2002 with the win over Argentina but the frustrating draws with Sweden and Nigeria kind of ruined it.

Funny how we have the same points as we had in 2006 but this is much, much better. We were very mediocre against Paraguay, Trinidad and not that good against Sweden either. We've certainly played with much more overall solidity in these games, imo. I think actually having a world class keeper helps.

I'm not sure which starter I'll go with.

I have plans to use Chandelure, Excadrill and Haxorus. However, I also want to use THEMANITAN because, well, THEMANITAN. I can't really have 3 fire Pokemon. Snivy is basically worthless trash. So I might just go with Oshawott again. Which would be "fine", but unexciting.

I can get away with two fires - I just have to decide if I really want THEMANITAN that much. If I don't, I'll pick Tepig this time.

Time for a little bit of XIII DECIDES!

I was surprised at ExTha's crushing win. It logically follows that ZeroSig will beat Haguile next week and become the #1 contender to Nee's title but if Haguile DOES pull off a miracle and win, the round-robin will be a 3-way tie. If that were to happen we would have a situation of Haguile > ZeroSig > ExTha > Haguile which, I have decided, can only mean one thing - a Fatal 4-way for the title!

Also next week, Whiskey on the Rocks will defend the tag titles against the winners of the tag tournament, Team Two-Star!

In terms of the ongoing King of the Board tournament, Sess and Maniac's tie means they will BOTH face off with JONA in a triple-threat match, while Reg will face Raze as previously announced.

Last but not least next week will mark the official start of my DIVISIONAL SHAKEUP - where I will strenuously test all of my Ruin talent to truly determine who belongs where!

So tune in for RUIN, the premier show in e-pop entertainment!
And check out Eruption too - this week sees the first time the LW title will be defended on Eruption in months! Zazi vs. WC vs. eaed in a triple-threat match!

very troubling to me was the moveset with which serperior is equipped, which is worsened by the fact that there are very few good, generic, physical TMs... i yearn for the days where you could equip pretty much any pokemon with f***ing BODY SLAM. as is, it mainly killed boldores and was a great asset in grind-it-down battles where i didn't have any super-effective pokemon. surprisingly durable. and yeah the design gets it a lot of points.

Yeah the movepool is incredibly s***ty. Another issue with it, though the stat spread means it's crippled as an offensive threat before it even starts tbqh

yeah i passed on flare blitz. not a huge fan of moves that cripple my pokemon and it didn't seem quote as useful in-game (though i could definitely have used it against conf*grigus i think). and to think i almost gave up on its pre-evolved form when i didn't think it was going to evolve, or it needed a trade/firestone. really glad that didn't happen!

Honestly FB's power is so awesome it can OHKO basically anything. It was always my secret weapon. Also the fact that it learns stuff like Rock Slide/Stone Edge and EQ makes it A+

really? surprising since jellicent doesn't look like it should be usable...

It's not great or anything but it's adequate, very tough to beat too. With good water Pokemon so lacking it's practically a godsend.

Don't read into the comparison too much. I'm saying that because women are smaller, there is no "extreme" like Spike or Rey (apart from Kharma). AJ is small but not freakishly so. Besides I don't think you can measure a psycho AJ and a psycho Rey by the same stick.

And Smuffin's right, Natalya didn't take her seriously.

Serperior was so disappointing. It could have been a fast, physical sweeper and what we got was just so...poor. I consider it unusable trash. Good job the design is great or else it'd be really low. Samurott for life.

Fortunately BW makes up for it by having the best ever selection of Pokemon, even better than RBY.

Good choice on using THEMANITAN. He's the perfect in-game Pokemon along with Krookodile. But no Flare Blitz?

Not sure I understand the comparison between AJ and Spike. AJ's tiny but her opponents are small too. It's not like she's snapping on Kharma...to me AJ/Natalya is closer to a Bryan/Sheamus deal in that one is obviously smaller but not by so much that he isn't a threat.
