Basically trying to settle an argument between a friend of mine who says sound bars are unnecessary in modern tvs as you cant tell the difference. I can tell the difference between my sound bar and tv, but idk if thats just me. Surely a 60W speaker cannot match the quality of a 360W speaker? Also surely in modern tvs you definitely can tell the difference because tvs are getting thinner and thinner so speakers are less and less powerful?

Just send them a link to the frequency response for a random TV, and then a random sound bar.
The physical shape of a speaker effects its response, so you have little speakers that are better at higher ranges and bigger speakers that are better at lower ranges. Despite all of our advancements in super cool speakers, we're limited by the fact that humans need moving air to hear, and it matters how much physical air we move.
People hang out in personal discords now.

It's kind of like Tolkien, where The Hobbit is more lighthearted and aimed at a bit of a younger audience, and then Lord of the Rings winds up being a much more serious and mature story. Sword in the Stone feels like a much lighter story than the ones that follow in the rest of The Once and Future King.

Yeah I can absolutely see it now that I've finished that section. Lots of kids parables and not-subtle life lessons on government and warfare.
I can really see the a WW1 influence too.
Hell yeah I'm happy the FTC did something, I don't know if this is technically in their power, but that's amazing anyway.
Tuna's one of the few ocean farmed fish, and its meat is colored based on what it's eaten.
You probably just got a tuna from a different part of the ocean.

With stuff like farmed salmon they feed the fish a certain diet to keep the meat the nice pink customers like.
A much stronger fact is that games are changing things, a guide doesn't work for a game that's being updated/patched.
Listening to a britsh person call curry "gravy" still just makes my brain explode. It doesn't make sense and it never will.

I really hope you're comparing ramyeon to instant ramen, in which case whatever. But I can't help being judgmental when people compare it to actual ramen. Ramyeon is fine but it basically just does one thing while actual ramen has so many varieties and flavours.

They're both wheat noodles my man. There are different flavors, yes. But saying ramyeon is all one thing is ignorant to korean noodles.

I think I tend to eat more Korean food than Japanese. Korean ramyeon is way better than Japanese ramen, and I think I like kimbap better than sushi.

That's because korean food has the flavor of chinese food, but the convenience of japanese food.
Omurice is nice and good
Oyakudon is a super simple dish
Plus I'll never turn down some gyoza.
I've transitioned into teas, it's fairly cheap stuff. Not the same caffeine and sugar infusion, but, works enough for later in the day.
With how my industry is going right now, I'm feeling a good 'ol quitting or firing is coming up.
We'll see, I've also gotten a few places I'm interviewing at.
I'm reading The Once and Future King by T. H. White.
Once I got over the slow intro, it's actually a decent book, and I'm enjoying myself. I also learned that Merlyn has a gun in his shack, which is nice.
I'm... kinda ok with this right before the election.
Pro tip.
A small nuclear warhead detonating over a large area at around 300miles above the surface area can create a wide-ranged EMP. This will cause most electronics to freak out, but then settle back into their everyday behaviors. However, the power grid needs to be within less than 1% of its frequency of 60hz before the systems automatic shuttof occurs. This can cause a cascading brownout that eventually shuts off the power grid itself until different region within seconds as the carefully monitored loaded systems are completely thrown out of balance. This will require a trained professional to drive out to each location and fix the system, one breaker at a time, at every junction box. If any of the frequencies are misaligned by 1% when the new two power systems entwine, it can cause the cascading brown out all over again.

This is all public information too, it's just a matter of looking it up.
Rapid charging damages your battery slightly, I'd recommend not using it daily.

it's just shameful that you thought you could get away with it.

I was showing that AI art can do more than the awful generic AI art that's being plastered on every shitty mobile game. I was fairly clear about that.

Typically what I see is bad AI art, not someone taking time to specify perspective, scenes, color palates, styles, and everything that makes one artist actually stand out from another.

the problem with AI art (beyond the obvious moral and legal questions, as well as the dumb little mistakes it makes) is that it often looks way too uniform. I know it's a very vague complaint but it really does look soulless, once you've looked at enough

Ask it to generate it in a different style then. I was able to generate fairly realistic oil painting of a harbor by asking for it to be textured with a palette knife.

Play Pathologic 2 if you want to see how deep it can get.
Generally I've found that people really only care about 3-4 hobbies, and then after those they sort of fall off caring. I'm not a craftsman I don't go out and rebuild desks with hand crafted wood and carefully make sure things are smooth. I don't make sure my clothes are built from labors of love from seamstresses.
I make sure my RPG book writers and artists are fairly compensated, because I've got a love for the craft. But most people who play RPGs don't, they just go off of the newest DnD edition.

To declare that everyone cares about how the sausage is made in their specific industry is wishful at best. Individuals can't care about that raw number of things they use or think about on a day-to-day basis.

What I have seen is the fervor die down now that photoshop has an AI button that's legally sourced. I haven't seen any company come out and declare that their artists shall never push that button, and artists shall never push that button. Most have, saw it was nice, and then used it or not depending on the situation.
I think there's a law around here that says you're not allowed to sell booze that requires a membership card, our Sams Club will let anyone 21+ buy alcohol and also go into the food court.
I wouldn't be surprised if that's also a requirement.

some of you really need to go read the original Starship Troopers novel.

the movie is way diferent than the novel

A lot of stuff is different from the source material. The real question is if it's good or not.

Honestly, I read the book, it sucks.
