Literally never owned a single piece of Apple tech, haven't even used one since playing games on an Apple 2e when I was in elementary school in the 80s.
This is close to my experience. I actually did own an Apple IIe (I got it as a hand-me-down from my cousin), but it's the only Apple product I've ever owned.
The only other Apple products I've ever
used
was an Apple IIc (very rarely) in elementary school, a IIe in middle school typing class, and Macintoshes in high school (both for school work and for graphics design), because those were the computers available in my school (I think the Macs were running System 6, with an upgrade to System 7 in my Junior year).
But then in high school I started using one of my school's two PCs to play Wolfenstein 3D, and in college all of the computer labs had PCs, so that basically became my default. And they were so muc better for pretty much everything other than graphics/desktop publishing that I never saw a reason to go back to Mac.
And since then, PCs have become better at both graphics and desktop publishing as well, so there's pretty much no reason to ever own a Mac.
