It is in a lot of places, there are also a lot of places where that doesn't come close. That's also dependent on if that's 70k for each parent or 70k total for household, because that's a massive difference.

Just for reference, according to the MIT living wage calculator, which I know isn't exact but gives an idea, my current locale says that for 2 children, both spouses should be making about 52k a year to be considered enough to support the family. That's probably not even factoring in private school and saving for college funds.

I guess there's a good sign here that the cons are starting to fight amongst themselves and over pretty serious fundamental things. Also funny that Loomer most certainly contributed to the exploitative Trump campaign and is now doing a near 180 on certain positions

If you want to buy a house, 70k is good in half the states. All the states you can get a decent apartment if you make 70k.

You also have to know what these people are fighting for. Elon wants cheap labor. Loomer wants white supremacist America with less global integration. In this particular issue, the two worlds collide, but both still remain evil.

True. I earned way more but I lived in the middle of nowhere.if you want to live in high population areas you will pay more. In her line of work does it really matter where you live.

Without doing the math, I think she's actually pretty close to right. She's comparing working eighty hours with salary to eighty hours with overtime.

Theres no McDonalds employee on Earth that is still hourly thats working 80 hours a week. Theyd rather be short staffed than pay out that much in OT.
