For ease of math, lets assume McDonalds is paying a worker $10/hr.
40 hours is 400 a week.
40 hours (at time and a half) of overtime is 600.
This gives us $1000/week.
52 weeks gives us $52,000/year

To me, this is a far cry from $70k that she is claiming.

Not sure if they're still doing it, but I know that when California first started requiring businesses to provide health insurance to full time employees, McDonald's responded to that by making most of their employees part time and keeping them under 40 hours per week

Theres no McDonalds employee on Earth that is still hourly thats working 80 hours a week. Theyd rather be short staffed than pay out that much in OT.

Not to mention working at McDonald's for 80 hours a week sounds like a fucking nightmare.
