I don't usually make these but I didn't see one on the board yet.

Any particular sales stand out to anyone? Anything you already bit on? A bunch of stuff on my wishlist is on sale but from a cursory glance nothing is cheap enough for me to immediately grab it.

Got my eye on SMTV Vengeance and a few other games that are deeply discounted

reminder that the sega megadrive and genesis classics and the dreamcast collection will be delisted on 12/6 so last chance on those. they dont appear to be on sale tho

damn how long is it gonna take for dark souls 2 and 3 to have reasonable sales

I used this sale as an opportunity to clean up my wish list instead. I realized that I've had some games on here since 2017 so I don't know what kind of sales I'm waiting for. If I'm not buying a game at $5 then maybe I don't really want to play it.

Also yeah, I let my Wishlist get up to almost 500 games, I need to do something.

My wishlist is 400-ish games but there's a lot on there that I wouldn't buy for $5 but would buy for $1, so it's hard to prune down.

My wishlist is to remind me that the games exist. Might not be the best choice.

What are peoples feelings on the LCD Steam Deck? The 512GB is ~350, or 200 less than the OLED. I know OLED is amazing but is the difference in price worth it?

Also, can you get Game Pass running in a Steam Deck?

Oh it's already started? Damn guess not a single game on my list is on sale since I haven't seen any notifications.

i still have the original disc of Lords of the Realm II like, 25+ years later, and I still occasionally take it out once or twice a year to play some custom maps. Just posting this is making me think about it doing it again actually, damn.

Anyways since you mentioned there's a Steam sale I figured I'd check it and sure enough it's a whopping 80% off... now $0.77 CDN, lol.

I mean yeah there's no need since I have the disc, but 77 cents... might as well add it to the Steam collection I think.

You should be able to, yeah, but my understanding is it's a little tricky. I haven't tried it myself.

Should be worth noting Forza Horizon 4 is getting delisted in less than a month, its on sale, probably the last sale for it if you want it

This has been $5 before, and the one thing keeping me from buying it is that I can't play it directly from Steam.

$5 for Me collection seems like a steal. I feel like it'd almost be silly to pass that up, still haven't played the series...

ME collection for 5 dollars is a steal, but it regularly gets to that price (to the point that it seems almost criminal to normally offer it for 40 dollars lol)

not sale related but uh. in the like decade since i added the enhanced steam extension i've never once clicked on the delete wishlist button it adds in where the sort button is on the wishlist page

guess who just lost their entire 3400+ game wishlist >_>

something like a quarter of that was also upcoming releases it is going to be so much harder to do my monthly posts now too...

My wishlist is only just shy of 200 games and I reeled back reading this

yeah that was very likely a few weeks worth of dedicated searches (many from events like Indie Live Expo or Bitsummit, many from publisher sales, many from extensively searching game releases for many hours for shine's monthly posts, many from just searching specific tags like metroidvanias or bullet hells) over the span of over a decade lost just now, it's going to be effectively impossible to recreate now

i'm strongly contemplating removing the extension now even if so much else about it is pretty invaluable

also it was called augmented steam not enhanced mb

also oh you can actually toggle it (i've never checked the settings...). i guess i had this coming then, i was just really lucky the button rarely ever loaded due to the sheer size of the wishlist lol

I thought there was a confirmation for wiping your wishlist but when I went to check it seems like augmented Steam has stopped working on my wishlist at all? But works on all other Steam pages... Bizarre.

Edit: Seems like what I was remembering was probably just the option to toggle it off completely like you said

Nothing for me. All the games I want have been on sale for less, so I'll continue to hold out.

I don't know how y'all can work with wishlists that long. Mine feels like there's too much on it when it gets to 40, let alone 400 or 3400.

Steam Secret Santa's coming up, and that also helps me keep the list somewhat pruned.

Persona 3 Reload for $35
Axiom Verge for $5
Re4 DLC pack for $15

And then also Separate Ways RE4 DLC for $10, but that wasnt on sale.

I think I'll wait like a year for P3R to drop to like $20. Persona games drop super fast.

The physical version of P3R is down to 25, I might grab that.

anyway i guess i picked up tokyo tattoo girls and moero chronicle and the petit game collection (that collection of doujin fangames of needy girl overdose) since they were all very cheap. i already had the first one on vita but since i haven't ever freed up space to install it on there...

I got Ender Lilies, UFO 50, Pampas & Selene, and Nyaruru Fishy Fight. Also the December Humble Choice is pretty killer so I grabbed that, mostly for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

got ff9 and 12.havent played 9 in a while and ive heard good things about the moguri mod so that should be neat. 12 i really didnt need to get since i have it on ps2 and ps4 but fuck it i like it and maybe theres some good mods for it too

I bought Gestalt Steam and Cinder a few days ago, and I just tried out Kingdom Come Deliverance today.

Gestalt was okay. I've played most of it.
KCD looks like it could be amazing, but after 2.3 hours, I'm still not through the prologue and I've managed to inadvertently kill myself slipping from a ladder going somewhere I wasn't supposed to be because the game's instructions aren't very clear and just assume I lived in the middle ages and know what everyone's talking about.
