Renne's the best of these, though she spends most of her party member time older than what I'd consider child.

For Fire Emblem, I like Kana from Fates a lot.

Do characters like Vivi fit an opposite category, where he's less than 1 but far more mature than that? Is Aigis a child character? Or KOS-MOS, since she's 2? Every bred Pokemon, since they're all babies?

Came in to vote Vivi.

But I'll give a mention to Nina from Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter (she's a 12 year old mute child, and her lack of agency drives the protagonist/story). And by saying nothing she's never annoying.

And Fuka from Disgaea 4 was quite fun, even if the tone is parodic.

I don't know if it's right to count Pokemon protagonists or characters from games where all of the party members are kids. I assumed this was like a Ken from P3 or Vivi from FF9 situation.
