LightningStrikes 02/13/24 4:27:07 PM #45:	The thing that I think is underappreciated is that overall, Morbius did not lose money. It made $168 million on a $75 million budget. Thats profitable when ancilliaries are taken into account. Thats the thing, these movies are cheap, they cost about a third of what the typical MCU movie does, even if they dont post amazing returns losses are minimal. Sneider continued that all mentions of either Spider-Man were then removed during reshoots after Sony realized that the timelines didn't add up for either version to appear. Madame Web was apparently going to be set in the 1990s/early 2000s until reshoots removed any reference to the movie taking place in a particular year.
