He also got extremely close to death by the Ginyu squad AND Zarbon and Freiza actually killed him. Similar story for Goku. Dude had to do a suicide combo attack to kill raditz. He needed a ton of help to beat Vegeta by the skin of his teeth. Freiza toyed with him until he went Super Saiyan. He didn't lose much in Cell saga because he was sidelined the whole time with heart virus and hyperbolic time chamber hax but he wasn't enough to beat Cell. They get wrecked all the time. Vegeta gets it worse because he isn't the face of the Manga but its always been this way. tremain07 11/10/23 7:56:31 PM #28:	No, they lose a lot any time they win is the result of team work or another character doing it Goku defeated Freiza but it didn't kill him Future Trunks killed him on his own, Goku didn't beat Cell, Gohan did and even then Gohan only did because Vegeta managed to distract Cell enough for him to win the beam clash, The spirit bomb killed Buu, Beerus was satisfied so he didn't blow everybody up, Goku had to sneak attack Golden Freiza, Goku lost to Hit in a straight fight but Hit foreitted officially, Zamasu outright defeated both Goku and Vegeta when their fusion ran out, Asspull Sword Trunks followed by Asspull Zeno killed him for good, Goku nor Vegeta nor Frieza could put Jiren down, Jiren had to be pushed out of the ring after being exhausted fighting them by Goku and Freiza together, Vegeta had to watch after being bested by Jiren and giving the last of his energy to Goku, Broly easily beat Goku and Vegeta once he went nuts, Gogeta would have killed him had it not been for his green mom, Moro had Goku beat but by then Moro's sanity was so far gone he had no idea who he was or what he was even doing anymore and was going to blow up, Granola easily defeated both Goku and Vegeta in their strongest forms back to back and so did Gas and most recently Gohan even ponders if Goku and Vegeta would even stand a chance against Cell Max.
