The mere taste of both types of olives makes me want to throw up. I'd say those are the only two I won't eat no matter what.

I don't like the taste of radish and mustard, but I could manage it if I had to for whatever reason.
Never had snails, but I'd be open to try them.

Also, not on the list, but I have basically zero tolerance for spicy food. If something is described as 'mild', it's already too spicy for me.

I dont think this is really a good gauge for being picky or not. I've eaten some off kilter shit like alligator and scorpion, I absolutely love spicy foods (tried authentic Indian for the first time this summer and it was amazing), get sushi all the time ... when I think picky, I think of those people that hate seasonings only eat not seasoned food and nuggets and shit, and not me who does like the taste of ketchup/mustard/mayonnaise

Never had snails offered to me to eat...so can't say if I like them or not.

Just don't like raw fish... sorry. Not a seafood person to begin with, so having it in it's rawest form doesn't do it for me.

Mushrooms are just gross.

Otherwise, anything on that list I that I don't eat is because it's not part of my healthier diet now like Sourdough bread... I love that stuff, but it's so high in carbs.

I'm not a fan of overall gamey meat so I'd probably pass on the rat, can't imagine it having good flavor or texture, but would definitely be game to the rest. I'm skeeved out by eating insects because I have a bit of bug phobia when they're alive (spiders and crickets especially), but would likely at least try it out of morbid curiosity.

For what I wouldnt eat, the list is Snails, Raw fish (I eat some in the form of sushi, though. But I dont eat sushi often), onions, and avocados. I would try Olives (both), radishes, and beets, but probably wouldnt like them. But who knows I wouldnt mind trying Brussel spouts, but I like other veggies already, so And while I will eat Dark Chocolate, its probably my least favorite when compared to others like milk and white

Fair point. Honestly I thought a lot of lists I was digging up weren't "extreme" enough, like it was mostly garden variety stuff. I'm not even particularly happy with the chart in the OP, but it was about as spicy as I could find.

I'm 25/26 but I make it an ongoing joke in my professional life about how I eat nothing

One of my coworkers used to just think of foods everyday for months just to ask me if I ate them

Going to restaurants can be a challenge but I eat meat so I can usually get something

(I'd eat garlic, pickles, raisins, lettuce, and dark chocolate - but I think raisins suck)

No, it's correct in that respect (despite being very "Middle America"), because vegetarians are by definition picky eaters, and vegans even more so.

There's a few other things on that list I'm not fond of, but I wouldn't not eat them. Like I'd never make beats for myself but if I was at a family dinner and they were on the table I'd have a couple pieces.

My allergic reactions to shrimp and calamari when I was young has kinda scared me off from mostly all non-fish seafood. Unfortunate, because I loved both shrimp and fried calamari for the brief moments I had them.

Some other stuff on the list I haven't tried and others I don't particularly like but don't have a strong negative opinion of either. Olives are the exception I guess. Olives were so vile as to me as a kid that I've never wanted to give them another try as an adult. I think I'm good without them.

Surprisingly, same texture and flavor as chicken. This is a ricefield rat, which is not the same species as those rats that infest homes and sewers. They subsist on grains, veggies, fruits, seeds, nuts, and some bugs.

vegetarians/vegans and people who cut out certain foods because of religious reasons or other similar idealogical reasons are not the same thing as picky eaters. idk if I've met many vegetarians who avoid meat because they don't like the taste

The only thing I won't eat is onions really can't stand the taste of them. But when it comes to food I am willing to try anything
I won't know if I like something unless I try it first

I'm also not a fan of the texture of mushrooms but I'll still eat them if they are on a plate I just won't make them for myself

Blue == Don't eat.
Maroon == Haven't tried.

So 8. I have a strong sense of smell/taste and am sensitive to texture so I was extremely picky as a kid. Did therapy sessions for ARFID too. It's gotten somewhat better as I got older though, as some foods I previously hated (eg eggs, spaghetti) I like eating now. However, I probably won't try snail ever due to mental blockage.
