then they simply dont enter official tournaments if they dont want to follow the rules. they can enjoy competitive battling in plenty of other ways. play online, enter unofficial tournaments, whatever they want. but official tournaments have rules and you are not entitled to enter them however you want. if you dont want to follow the rules then thats where it ends for you, find fun in other ways. "but its a silly rule" isnt an argument. lots of sports/game tournaments/whatever have silly rules but people follow them. pokemon is not some exemption where you can just go "no i dont want to do that and you have to let me in anyway"

Yesh you are because at the end of the day someone claiming that I have whine for years about cheating means jack shit online when people can lie and exaggerate things and it doesnt even negate the fact that the topic at hand is pointing out the fact that people are whining they got DQ for cheating. Fair but at the same time you do realize the fault here is the argument that is being made against me being a hypocrite right? Again a claim is just a claim it has no merit to it unless proven true.

By using third party software to do so, which by all means is going to be considered cheating regardless of rather or not they did it as a shirt cut to make a legal Pokemon. It is still not allowed in official competitions.

If you get caught, it's your own fault for making a sloppy hack

I don't play competitive Pokemon but if I did I'd use battle simulators or genned Pokemon for practice. There's no reason to waste your time doing something like breeding, in previous gens obviously, over actually getting meta battling knowledge. It's just a matter of prioritizing your time imo. I'd probably build the actual team if going to a event depending on the Mon or otherwise I'd personally make sure it was legal.

Do you side with genners when they say that breeders are able to do those things at the same time or do you side with breeders when they say that genners have more time or the potential to have more time for those things.

If the rules explicitly state "No Taxis allowed, must bike" and then you ride a Taxi to save time, yes you should be DQ'd.

A) Person who breeds their own team and has to play through the games for their team
or
B)Person who can break the rules and have his pokemon ready in an instant

I gen my pokemon, but that doesn't mean I'm going to ignore the risk that comes with getting caught knowing I'm breaking the rules

I have nothing against genning Pokemon, to be fair.

I just think that if you get caught, in the process, it means you did something you shouldn't have, and so you deserve it. Especially when it comes to entering tournaments.
