There's probably a long list of Pokmon that got fucked over for having double weakness to the Rocks that would have been fun to use but ended up being trash.
Smogon tested an SRless meta during gen 5. Bad things kept being bad and actually good things like Dnite and Volcarona became much more dangerous. Zard is not getting fucked over by being 4x weak to rock, it's just isn't good enough.
